  1. Great idea, but you cannot win the campaign because it will count as 0.
  2. Yes, agree hot start is total unnecessary. Above all, the first mission is followed by the first mission - HOT START. So basically you have to fly twice the same mission to progress.
  3. Yeah right, and you absolutely managed to create a "cheesy 80's action movie". A bit contoroversial that you have to let yourself be lured into Soviet airspace many times (M08, M09) in order to finish a mission. But it is totally obvious and predictable that the MiG's are just baits and there are SAM's. But no choice: if you don't chase the MiG's, you cannot complete the mission. Just a though - otherwise this campaign is nice and funny.
  4. One of the best campaign I have ever flown/bought. CONGRAT! And true, the Harrier II is my absolute favourite from modern jets.
  5. GREAT CAMPAIGN although from a military and geopolitical perspective is a bit "fairy-tale-like". (Where is the NATO for eg.? What about the Montreaux Convention? etc.) Other campaigns from reflected pay more attention to this issues. But we get an incredible recall of the eighties (our childhood for most of us), great dialogues from movies like Final countdown, the remake of the Backfires' strike from Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising, etc. CONGRAT! All-in-all for me some additional challenge is missing, for eq. landing is not required to complete a mission, and more geopolitical "realism" can make the story/missions far more better.
  6. Dear Currenthill, First of all MERRY CHRISTMAS. THX for the amazing mods! My wishlist is very short. If you have time and motivation I would appreciate a Royal Navy Type 23 destroyer and/or a Type 42 frigate. Currently it is impossible to create any British campaign for DCS. Something is always missing. (AV-8B could be a Harrier GR.5A or a GR.7, but there is no more asset in its era.) MANY THANKS. Best.
  7. GREAT MOD THANKS. I miss the UK variant (Seaking), or at least a good RN skin for the existing AI model, but will see. (The missing of UK assets in DCS in general is terrible, you cannot create a proper campaign for eg. to the Falklands map.)
  8. I have a Standalone version, but it simply does not work. I do really hope that I get the above mentioned WOW effect, but when I start DCS from Virtual Desktop, it launches but in 2D. Quite annoying :-( BTW I do not recommend Quest 2 to anyone, who would like to use it for DCS. You can buy it to your daughter for virtual chatting, but it is not suitable for flight simming. Even with an RTX 3090Ti is not enough clear, and the distant objects are hardly visible. You will waiste your times with reading dozens of articles about settings, VR tricks etc., but finnally the picture will remain basically the same (blurry and non-satrisfying). And DCS is also failed to solve the VR issues, I do not believe that they are not able to improve this.
  9. SOME TECHNICAL ISSUE - And again I recommend this campaign for every who likes this era. - Some mission is a bit overtriggered and the trucks not leave the Runway. (Mission 5 for eg. / Wingman cannot take off.) - I would replace the MB.339's to CASA 101's (static) which was in the inventory of the Jordanian AF. - Please hide the statics and the ground targets. Best.
  10. Dear dggoofy, Your campaign is just excellent, payware quality, many thanks. I would pay for that, because there are very few professional campaign available depicting some geopolitical events in the "high-analog" jet era (1970-1980's). (And the F.1 is a very good module, I am looking forward to the F-4, Corsair, Intruder, Tornado... from this ERA.) I hope I will not hurt you with some of my remarks. (Mission 3 problems were mentioned earlier in this topic and solved, so I don't reflect on that.) 1. Please consider to change the F-14's to F-4's (there are a good AI mod), because the Tomcats have just been introduced in 1975 and they were the really 'wonders' not the F.1. Complimenting the F.1 from an F-14 pilot seems a bit strange for me in 1975. The first two squadrons (on USS Enterprise) have just been entered service (and took part in the evac of S. Vietnam) when our CADIX flight left Paphos. 2. The whole story would be less fiction, if it took place in 1981 when Jordan really received their Mirage F.1's. French instructior pilots would flew there, even through Israel, and the story can be built around the Jordanian efforts to secede from the Arab League. (The peace treaty between Jordan and Israel were signed in 1994, but it was a long process.) All-in-all your campaing is brilliant, wish the best. (If you think on a 1973 Yom Kippur War campaign - A-4 Mod - close to the historical events, I would very appreciate.) Wish the best!
  11. Ok. I am not a programmer, just want to fly some correct SP campaign which is missing in DCS. I did, red and checked everything, waisted several hours, but now I give it up. Good Luck!
  12. Dear Miguel, Managed to solved the issue, it runs correctly. (DCE was not activated whitin the Modules.) Scusi. But today I received this one: nullnull
  13. Thanks, but entry.lua is there. I am sorry for the problems, try to figure out...
  14. Yes. I did it with the latest version. It was TF-71 Harrier 80's campaign.
  15. Sorry to all for this stupid question. I am a newbie here, and tried to install DCE, but it is not visible in the DCS menu (2.8) at all. I cannot find the first mission as well. (I have red everything, missionscript configured, files are in the good directories, etc.) Do you have any idea what went wrong, what to do? Thanks
