Both HSD and HUD show my heading as 313, but HUD shows my target is right from me and HSD shows it to the left. Can't reproduce it at the moment here's a screenshot from when it happened flying multiplayer.Screen_250823_132105.jpg

I think the AG Radar is screwing with you

Make it SOI and press target unlock in case its acting up again.

To all those who fly this amazing jet, who are ground pounders, how do you enter MGRS coordinates please? How could you deliver laser bombs with JTAC and his MGRS 9 Line?

I can not believe no one had asked the question...

It would be very surprising if this very modern jet could not create a point through MGRS coordinates. Perhaps a missing feature?

    The Jeff can’t do MGRS.

MGRS is a western / nato reference system, whilst the Jeff is a Chinese/Pakistani jet.
So, you do LSS to capture the jtacs laser.
I think on some servers the JTAC uses the right reference system for the Jeff automatically if you spawn in one. But I forgot where

What does the VRC button on the UFC do? I can't find it in the manual or the Chuck's guide.

It’s for accessing the settings for HUD video recording. But it’s not implemented (it’s mentioned in the Chinese JF-17 manual Deka ships with the module. You can find it here https://flyandwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/odt_dcs-jf-17-flight-manual-en-faw240921.pdf

it’s briefly mentioned on page 66 of the pdf.

WMD-7 is finnicky I personally haven't experienced much of the issues people claim to so I wonder if there's any Mod/External factors people are experiencing conflicts with.

I second that. I’ve tried it yesterday and it behaved adequately.

Hi @Qnnrad. Not sure whether its worth checking, but I think there may also be a difference dependent on whether cruise mode or transition mode is selected? Was messing around last night playing with some static objects (just started looking into this side of things so my mind was fried!), went for a quick test flight and was in cruise mode - and not sure whether its purely my imagination playing up - but things seemed slightly more stable. Of course I could be talking pure c**p and more wishful thinking on my part - but when I went back to transition mode, accelerated and pulled back into the hover, back to some very weird oscillations. This without any 'hotfixes' mind.

I always thought the modes change only the symbology, hence the symbology select name for the button?

What you describe is correct for munitions like the GB6. However, I don't recall seeing a similar cue on the HSD for other GPS guided ordnance like JDAMs (or their equivalent). If those cues were once present, they are not working in the current patch.

Hm. Only thing i can remember having release cues in HUD is the BRM 90 Laser guided rocket.

LS-6 100 has a tone, the other LS-es behaved like GB-6. And i cant find any reference to a HUD Cue in Chucks Guide.

But maybe someone else has a better memory then I have.

As mentioned we need free dev time to complete the task and that is not available at the moment. It is in our to do list.

    thank you

Would you be so kind an poke the dev team a little bit to bump the priority up?

I mean - you guys knowingly rendered the Jeff’s current Cruise missile unusable. For performance reasons - which is fair i guess. Without any warning or info. Approach „they’ll notice. And after a few months of asking what’s going on we tell them that it’s not a bug but we did it on purpose.“ which is not ok. The least you could do is prioritise a possible replacement.

Not because it's got some magic American tech inside that's forbidden for anyone else.

    That’s not entirely true.
Theres a pretty extensive and meanwhile declassified ppt out there with a study on how much it would cost to restart production to do an export F-22. This also hints at removing some „magic murican tech“ in order to make it exportable.

  9. Didn’t check it, but you should be abled to switch between the stations where the next BRM is coming from via nosewheel steering button. You just have to remember to do that before each release.

Doing this would cause the rack to be permanent the way ED set up the re-arm dialog.

That would mean the rearm dialog would have some direct connection / automatism on how it’s being coded in the background. That might be the case, but also might not. Do you know how it works behind the scenes?

    damn, ....

current DCS loadout doesn't support mixed loadout type

idk anything about how DCS work - but wouldnt it help to define the double rack as 2 separate pylons in the coding behind the scenes?
