Using BLUFOR/REDFOR factions overrides the country-specific limitations FWIW and let you see all liveries for either "side".

Somewhat embarrassing that every 3rd party module offers this functionality but it's too much effort for Eagle 7000 hours Dynamics.

The way I see it there is no trust held or deserved by ED in this situation. -
Ka-50, Mi-8, Mi-24 removed from Russian ED store??

Real tough display by E-threatening aggravated assault to anyone who tells you you suck at your job. I'm sure all your coworkers at Wally World think you're real intimidating. -
Ka-50, Mi-8, Mi-24 removed from Russian ED store??
flecktyphus replied to flecktyphus's topic in DCS 2.9
Exactly. My fear is this will spread from RU store only to worldwide stores. -
null How come this has not been mentioned in any kind of newsletter or official post? For what reason and for how long are the modules removed from sale from RU store?

I was showing someone an excerpt for the manual and noticed this in the desired altitude select mode for the AP: Is this not entirely incorrect?? In the screenshot provided in the guide page, the drums are set to 2|0|0|00. The dial goes up to 4|0|0|00. This is obviously in feet so I have no idea where the "5,000 ft" come from. null Pg 315. 14/08/2024 version of manual

I am aware and in the same breath they mentioned liveries for the export nations I mentioned above. Hence why I asked - drogue chute would be essentially vital for flying with those colors, operating like they would do (icy runways and highway/road bases).
-
Will the F-35A include an option to utilize the drogue chute? This would seem to be a highly necessary part for operating the F-35A as done by the RNoAF (initial asking customer), RDAF, RNLAF,BAF, and RCAF. The drogue chute pod is considered "vital" to the operations done by RNoAF and seemingly also other customers who have ordered the option. Leaving it out, even as an opt-in mission editor option, would be pretty detrimental to operating the plane as any of these important export customers. Here a picture released by the Norwegian military showcasing F-16 (left) and F-35 (right) drogue switch in the cockpits: And here a RNoAF F-35A using the chute: As per LM themselves the pod is attachable and detachable in the same manner as any given pylon or rail, meaning this is field-level work to install or remove. https://www.f35.com/f35/news-and-features/the-f35a-drag-chute-system.html

December Kola Map Update - Coming Soon!

Is there any particular reason why the last airports to drop only receive their TACAN beacons several updates later? 2.9.9.2280 adds Andøya sans TACAN. 2.9.11.4686 adds TACAN for Andøya, adds Bardufoss sans TACAN. What is the logic here..? I am happy we receive frequent updates but it is lost on me why we must go 1-2 months between an airbase's addition and when it receives TACAN... Best regards, radio navigator... who is still bitter that Orbx promised aurora borealis as a feature on Kola, and now says it's up to ED to add it. Likewise it is also Bodø and Andøya, not Bodo/Andoya -
I would absolutely love a hardware pack, if one ever was made that is compatible with WW stick bases.

Absolutely unacceptable from both RB and ED to let module breaking bugs like this persist. Sadly it seems that RB feels the need to do public meltdowns and announce their tantrums by posting screenshots of deleting nightly builds on Twitter has a higher priority than ensuring that at least existing modules will remain playable. Shame to see my favorite plane by far be neglected.
