  1. @Flappie would you happen to know if the BLG66's will stay the way they are for the F1? Ever since the most recent update to the Belouga Release sequence, they hardly travel any distance from the plane before dispensing, and might be a little too chute-retarded. They instantly deploy at all altitudes and speeds, making them essentially like a KMGU where the bomblets do not have standoff, but dispense right under the plane. Frankly, I have little to no documentation on the BLG66, so I do not know. I was just wondering if this was the intended state of function for the bomb. Thanks.

  3. I apologize in the delay between my post and providing tracks but it looks like people have beat me to it! Glad to see it as caught. I will post my Tracks as supplemental data regardless, but as mentioned, you can lock it in that 1.5-3.5nm sweet spot. Below that, it is impossible to acquire the target, and above that (as intended) it is also impossible to acquire the target. It being 400m-7km definitely means the range is a little bit wonky right now. But seeing as you've already fixed it, I'm glad to hear we'll be seeing the change sometime soon! I suppose it's up to ED to put out another patch beyond the F10 Crash hotfix, for any other minor issues that launched with the update. Thank you for your work. 4. Also reporting this issue, there's a really small window that TEL could lock. It would flash like it was attempting a lock at most ranges but couldn't achieve the lock outside of this very specific "range" I will provide a track file but, right now it seems like the Radar is desperately trying to lock a target in TEL and the target is rapnullidly flashing in the Radar display, and it just wont lock. in the red circle you can see the target entering my "range" in the first picture, and then in the Second, it hits the vertical line, and that's when I usually achieve lock. Shown in the third picture is the successful lock achieved in TEL mode. null It's extremely inconsistent. Sometimes it works, other times it won't lock at all. if you're too close, you'll see the target constantly flashing on your radar scope but never achieve a lock I might create a track and submit another report.
  5. Haven't heard any news but considering the current going-on's with ED, I don't presume we'll even find out. Frankly, another disappointment to add to the pile. Thank you ED.
  6. Thank you for the honest and prompt reply. Let's hope we see it soon!
  7. Howdy there! I'm not sure what kind of ammo we have in the DEFA's at the moment, however they feel a little limp when hitting planes at times. They do great damage to ground targets however, which leads me to believe we have an AP or AP/HE belt. However the DEFA 30mms had belts of all different kinds, listed as follows: DEFA 552/552A/553/554 Caliber: 30 mm Number of main: 1 Barrel length: Overall length: 1957 mm Weapon weight: DEFA 552 -80 kg DEFA 552A -81 kg DEFA 553 -81 kg DEFA 554 -85 kg Number of chambers: 5 Muzzle velocity: DEFA 554 - 765 m/s APHEI-SD; 815 m/s HEI; 820 mps TP Cadence: DEFA 552 - 1250 rounds/min DEFA 552A - 1300 rounds/min DEFA 553 - 1300 rounds/min DEFA 554 - 1100 - 1800 rounds/min Method of shooting: dose from DEFA 553 limited (lasting 0.5 s or 1 s) or continuous Manufacturer: Manufacture National d`Armes Ammunition:30 x 113 mm Match: electric Length: whole hub 213 mm cartridge 113 mm Weight: whole projectile 245 - 275 g (according to projectile type) projectile explosive charge 18-50 g (according to projectile type) whole charge 450 g dust 48 g Species: Type 5432 APHEI-SD Type 6522 HEI & HEI-SD Type 21202 TP & TP-T Type 2671 SAPHEI Type 2271 AGTP It would be great to know if at all possible, if these would come sometime down the line. Currently the Air to Air effectiveness of the guns are very hit or miss.
  8. The issue has been fixed as of the multithreading patch! Thanks a ton, and happy OCA striking everyone.
  9. A replay file showcasing the same issue has been graciously provided by Mobot betab500shp_crater_test.trk
  10. Hi there, I know this is a very old post but, I recently was testing and believe this has been an issue since the release of 2.8 I made a forum post towards ED about it, if you've done some testing I'd love to see what you found! Thank you.
  11. I shall mark this as the solution then, thank you very much for clarifying!
  12. I was hoping they would update, or release an updated manual with the F1EE, but it appears they have not, so I shall bump this thread.
  13. As the title states, I've tried on multiplayer and singleplayer, bombing runways on both Caucasus and Syria, It appears that no matter where the craters are, they are not actually stopping planes from taxiing or taking off over them. the weapons/craters I tested were F1 Mirage BLU-107/B Durandals, and SU25 Betab 500 HD Concrete Piercers, as well as KH29s. Aircraft then subsequently ran over them with no issues, and I also could take off running directly over large Betab craters with no issues. Video Proof as of 1/27/23
  14. It appears the tables for the Mirage are out of date ever since the changes to how the air to ground reticles work. Does anyone have the Depression, Speed, and Dive angle settings for the updated Mirage F1 as of 2.8? Ive been looking everywhere and there's little to no documentation. Thanks!
