I have tried this with a complete black screen using brightness/contrast and a complete white screen using these knobs. They do absolutely nothing to stop you from locking a target. If it cannot lock then its either not big enough target area or the laser has gone too hot or just a bug. I found it helps to reset everything and then try to lock again. Sometimes this does work.

I want to map the NS430 to a section on the screen. How can i do this? Is the Popup NS430 something i can scale and place on the screen as i wish? I am using the Mi8 and have the integrated version and the full version of NS430.

I am wondering, does the brightness/contrast controls for the SHKVAL TVM affect the ability of the SHKVAL to lock on targets? There are conflicting experiences I have that sometimes it just won't lock the target, even though it's a valid live target, and trying to Reset everything didn't work either. It's as if the Laser is not working properly/overheated or something. But I have always wondered if it's to do with these brightness/contrast knobs since the SHKVAL is electro-optical after all.

Hello I believe the damage model of the VIKHRs is broken. I have recorded a video of 6 VIKHRs hitting a helicopter. The first two VIKHRs take off the tail but the heli continuous to fly in a straight line. The third and fourth dont do any damage. And the last two take off another part of the tail section, but the rotors keep spinning. There is a fire. The helis are able to put out the fire and even come to a landing. Can i somehow increase the font size of the UTM Grid references on the ABRIS? They would benefit from a dynamically scaled font size, but they stay in tiny 6px font size regardless of how far you zoom in. Did someone already create a mod for this perhaps or is able to whip one up real quick? Would be awesome.

Nah I just slotted on a MP server. The unit I spawned in before was working fine. And the one when I re-slotted was fine too. so weird.

Is this a game error or something happening intentionally? What exactly is happening or causing this behavior?

Does anyone have etching drawings or 3D models pertaining to the KA50 cockpit panels ?

Is there a file somwhere that shows the layout of the cockpit instruments panel by panel? Some 3D drawing maybe? Can someone show me where to find and how to open them?

It seems since one can connect external devices to DCS using DCS BIOS it should be possible to log the in-game values to a log file while flying. Can someone point me to the direction how to do this? I am only starting with building cockpits and am a noob. I have just tried building an Autopilot USB box for the KA50 bs3. Thanks

Hi Is it possible to customise the column width of columns in the "Choice of roles" window upon mission start? Is it possible to hide some columns from this role selection menu? I dont really need the Task|TailNo|Unit|Role columns I would love to hide them. Thx

oh the interval can be +/- x meter? I think negative interval doesn't work. they start doing funny business on their own. HAHA. like breaking the chain and then circling each other. I leave it at +meter interval. Thanks for your help!~
