  1. Yes, from deficiency of existing models you are right. Now with possible upcoming european maps it would be fantastic to see more european aircraft appear in DCS....
  2. Happy about the GR7 version, but have to say that the FRS1/2 version ..... hmmm..... looks like a make-believe. Nice morph of a GR7 and a FRS, but would use it in no case.
  3. Hi TeTeT, got in contact with Gregory some days ago and did contact you also today via discord. So maybe it will be possible to get at least many objects of RAF Brüggen into DCS and team them with possible DCS library objects to get a proper RAF Brüggen air base. But maybe we can make it possible to get almost the complete base into DCS....
  4. Gorgeous! Didn't know about that! There is still hope in the pipeline, thank you for this info, made my day!
  5. You made my day seeing so many improvements. Cudo!
  6. Hi all, with the upcoming CW Germany map I wonder if it is possible to convert a complete air base (or at least parts or objects of it...) into the DCS world. I did develop RAF Brüggen representing the cold war era for the flightsim P3D and would provide it for use in DCS. This would go really well together. Please let me know.
  7. Segways? Selfdriving cars? Artificial intelligence? IT IS POSSIBLE, IT IS POSSIBLE, it is possible, it is possible (you only have to repeat it again and again to believe in )
  8. Your developping skills are impressive! Regarding the gates: You are right. There are 2 gates with guard posts and barriers, then 4 more crash gates. Gate 6 had a bridge in front, especially built for fire cars because of no other way to the south west side. This bridge was used for decades by spotters for impressive shots. If you need more informations, please let me know, because the RAF Gütersloh era was used by several squadrons, regarding this the buildings and objects did change in the 70s, 80s and 90s....For example in the Lightning era (70s) there still were no HAS, just built with the Harriers arrival late 70s/beginning 80s. Same with the big maintenance hangar to the west side. Just constructed with the arrival of the CH-47. Then 1993 the Harriers left Gütersloh towards Laarbruch and the west section was used by Westland Lynx and Gazelles while the base was renamed to Princess Royal Barracks. Just memories, no Wikipedia, but there are many other important informations. As you see there are many different useable eras during the cold war, but in my opinion, the 70s or 80s are the most dangerous years and probably should be considered.
  9. Sorry, Dangerzone, I did misphrase it a little. Yes, just because with the surprising release (for me...) of CW Germany I did contemplate the buy of the Razbam Harrier, but it was too late. I have to add today that I wouldn't have bought it anyway because of the missing british variant. I have to clarify that I own many Razbam products for my P3D sim. There, the Harrier comes in the british GR7 version also. Regarding this, I did assume the DCS Razbam comes with this variant too. A F-35 will not match with the Cold War era, so unfortunately I will have to wait for a proper british Harrier solution.
  12. If anyone is able to convert a complete RAF Brüggen scenery from P3D to DCS, you have my permission:
Was wäre z.
  14. The GR7 would be a great option! Those Harriers were stationed at RAF Gütersloh for example and did operations on manouvre sites around this base. Releasing the Germany Cold War Map shows still a gap in the aircraft modules: Some hardly missed british jets and aircraft because of the british allied occupation was based in the north and western areas in Germany those days, especially also Tornados or Jaguars. Looking very forward to what may happen probably near future. But with a Harrier, one could finally use this great aircraft where it belongs to: Beside the troops nearby the border - mostly needed in Germany in the Cold War era. An extremely important and interesting theme for lots of campains and action in my opinion.
  15. Thank you very much for your answers. Hope dies last, but I do so
  16. What happened? I did post this deliberately in the Off-Topic forum to maybe get serious answers and not to attend to any pros and cons regarding Razbam. So why did you merge my comment into this thread? Why not directly into the spam folder? Disappointing, I just was interested into a Harrier alternative . Done this, no other interested user will discuss the topic either will find it.... Is this the standard dealing here inside?
  17. I know about those time consuming projects . Could take years, especially for freeware. This last building looks excellent, I will follow this more than promising work!
  18. Just detected this thread - AWESOME! I did develop this scenery those days for FSX/P3D. So please give me a shout if you are interested in any british objects (all objects are done with Gmax, but will be surely possible to convert in any other format).
  19. Hope this is an appropriate forum and I hope there are some more interested parties. Regretfully, I noticed the lost of the Harrier in DCS. With the release of the Germany MAP, especially the cold war era, I had hope to arouse my yesterdays memories. Missing a Harrier GR3 or GR7 intensely in DCS, I hope for a developer who can bring back the cold war atmosphere near the german border with Harrier Hides those days. Especially living nearby the former RAF Gütersloh airbase, where Harriers were stationed at in the 80s and 90s, I would like to see this great aircraft. So what are your thoughts? Will we have a shot at a Harrier, especially a british version? Asking this, because especially the German Map would be a great habitat for it... I know Dino Cattaneo (Indiafoxtecho) did a great job on a Harrier too. So...is there still hope?
