Hey bro, I checked the ID lookup for the F-15E in Stream Deck, but the list is empty. Is this normal? Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong? Other modules table can be shown normally, it's not dcs setup path setting issue. However, it's working when I use others' (like Norsk_L) profile to control F-15E. Functions work but index table broke...

Mission 8 bug 410 goes wild
QuasarZero replied to Asghardhyl's topic in F/A-18C Rise of the Persian Lion Campaign
Last night, I successfully completed the final mission 15. It was an exhilarating experience to drop JDAM at a low altitude of 5,000 feet in the nighttime, evading a heavy barrage of anti-aircraft fire. After accomplishing our mission objectives, during AAR, as I climbed from 5,000 to 15,000 feet, the vast expanse of the night sky and the endless sea of clouds left me in awe, just as 420 expressed his admiration for the breathtaking beauty of night flight. It all made me feel so immersed and I'm really looking forward to the Rise of the Persian Lion 2. (`・∀・)b -

Yup and nice job, @Badger633, thank you for your timely response! BTW, your campaign is exhilarating, intense, and captivating. It has a great gaming experience. -
Mission 6 Phantoms
QuasarZero replied to gonvise's topic in F/A-18C Rise of the Persian Lion Campaign
To evade the AIM-7, execute a 39 maneuver or fly directly away. After accelerating towards the sun, maintain a standoff distance of 7-8 nautical miles to entice the F-4s to pursue. Continuously monitor the F-4s using both visual cues and SA data link. Once you have a substantial energy advantage, turn towards the F-4s, reducing throttle to minimize your IR signature. Proactively deploy flares and, at the optimal engagement range, launch AIM-9X missiles. By leveraging the sun's glare, helmet-mounted cueing + ACM mode, and the AIM-9X's high off-boresight capability, you can effectively defeat two F-4s. When I first played the mission, I didn't even notice that I had a AIM-120... -
I've noticed a workaround for this issue (If you don't want to wait until ED releases the next version update to solve it). By manually landing my aircraft (110) at Ras Al-Khaimah (despite not being required to do so), I've found that the 410 will then proceed to follow the scripted sequence and attempt its emergency landing. You can try.

Mission 8 bug 410 goes wild
QuasarZero replied to Asghardhyl's topic in F/A-18C Rise of the Persian Lion Campaign
Last night (August 7th), I encountered this issue when I was on Mission 8. After defeating the F-5E squadron as planned, the plot indicated that 410 had been hit again and needed to make an emergency landing at Ras Al-Khaimah. This is the same issue I found mentioned in a thread. The 410 couldn't be controlled as a wingman via radio, I was helpless when he hovered in the northwest direction, ignoring the plot's instruction to fly towards Ras Al-Khaimah. I had already reached above Ras Al-Khaimah and was circling, waiting for the 410 to join me. However, he stubbornly remained in the hot zone. Realizing my fuel was bingo and the tanker hadn't respawned, I decided to land at Ras Al-Khaimah to refuel. Surprisingly, after my landing, the 410 started to follow the plot and flew towards Ras Al-Khaimah, initiating the emergency landing procedure. Unfortunately, a spoiler: the 410 crashed on the runway just before touching down, suggesting a fatal outcome. The plot then proceeded as normal. I returned to the sky (despite the plot requiring me to monitor the 410's landing in the air), performed an aerial refueling, and finally returned to base. -

Improved the cockpit switch animation of FC3 jets
QuasarZero replied to QuasarZero's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Yes, your adjustments on the ground are effective. But if the mission is to be born in the air, you need to RTB to another airport, and the local air pressure altitude is inconsistent with the current setting, the setting is not intuitive. You are right. What I want to express is that Flanker’s cockpit animation simulation in FC3 is already the most complete. -
As we all know, FC3's aircraft are Standard Systems Modeling and they do not have as complete functionality as Advanced Systems Modeling. Therefore, the functions of FC3 are relatively limited and highly homogenized/templated. In the recent 2.9.3 update, we have obtained new models of the FC3 aircraft, and the cockpit has also been made high-definition, this is exciting news. But it seems to be just an optimization of the texture. As for the avionics animations of some aircraft, they are still missing, such as The A-10A’s autopilot switch has no switching animation effect; The F-15C's landing light switch does not toggle with animation; The Su-25A navigation light switch has no switching animation effect; etc…… These missing cockpit animations actually correspond to the available avionics functions. I hope that the existing functional status switching of FC3 aircraft can provide feedback at the corresponding positions in the cockpit. Regarding this, the cockpit animations of Su-27 and Su-33 are almost perfect. At the same time, I would like to know that the inHg pressure setting value cannot be seen from the F-15C’s barometric altimeter. Is it true that there is not one, or is this function not simulated?

reported TGT-TO-VRP while in CCRP causes game crash
QuasarZero replied to QuasarZero's topic in Bugs and Problems
Because the result was a game crash and abnormal exit, I was unable to provide .trk, the last log file is attached. I will provide as many details as possible: In any singleplayer mission. In any map. Mount any bomb, GB, LGB, CBU are all okay. As long as it can enter CCRP mode. I only setup a community mod of A-4E (Under the Saved Game folder). All remaining modules come from official or authorized third-party development teams. I also executed the dcs_updater cleanup and removed A-4E. Follow the above steps again, and the problem will still occur. I installed two utilities that everyone is familiar with -- DCS-SRS, Tacview. I don't think they have affected this issue. dcs.log -
Here are my operational steps (Not related to the order of operations): A/G Mode Specify a steelpoint A Set VRP, input some the bearing & range & elevation for the steerpoint A, that active VRP Select MK-84 / MK-82 / MK-82SE ... (any) bomb Set release mode from CCIP to CCRP Now, game is down. Following this step, I can stably trigger a game crash. I think it should be an unresolved game bug. DCS Version: DCS 2.9.3.51704
