  1. The centring is based on ur headset tracking. i have not used Oculus before so i can't really tell you how to improve that. however, i started with reverd g2 and now pimax crystal which uses inside-out tracking. we had to use some form of digital image fixed to our surroundings and the headset would align itself. you could start looking at the headset tracking. Crystal headset also has the option of base station tracking but that is the exact money i am not willing to fork out.
  2. i recently switched up from HP Reverd G2v2 to Pimax Crystal. overall the graphic clarity is really good. I on the one hand need lens correction too. My experience with 2 brands is different. i know for sure the centre sweet spot is almost near full screen all the clarity is almost across the view. It was the edge that i tend to pick the fight. esp, when you are having the NVG and the instruments, tend to get distorted with one of the bigger brands and make the night flying impossible. Overall i crank up all the setting to max and on a 4090 it runs at full stream easily to 90FPS those with DLSS i do get some artifacts when performing F3 view when the object is approaching you tends to see artifacts lines bleed off the wing span. I wonder if any of you have seen this. Also, i run the OpenXR on Custom resolution upwards of 4320 for the supersampling purpose.
  3. i believe the issue could be ED digitalcombatsimulator.com server has been overwork or is slow. I believe the ingame is polling the same web server as below to get the list. moreover, even my browser suffer from connection issue. my Internet are based on a 1 Gbps fiber connection. null
  4. after 3 hours, this happen. An Error occurs while receiving data, try later. null
  5. Due to a problem with scanning for multi-player servers. I decided on the worst option which was to uninstall and reinstall the entire Openbeta game. the 12MB web installer took nearly 45 min to download from ED's Server. whereas dcs_updater.exe download the 2 free maps took less than few min as they came from a CDN server sgp.cdn77.com cluster @ 800Mbps speed. Once into the game, I faced the same issue with being unable to list all the MP servers. nevertheless, I decided to scan for my module and install my purchased module. this faces the same issue where the busy icon spins non-stop for the last 2 hours and nothing happens. it might seem that the server that the module manager is trying to connect to is hung or not responsive. From the system, I notice it is connecting to 138.201.206.135:8090 and 93.115.211.146:443 and 54.36.177.169:443 @ 163msec with no packet loss. the data steam seems to be receiving at 1.5 kbps at max. My Network is based on a 1Gbps fiber from my local ISP with direct IP and no C-NAT. dcs.log
  6. hmmm yes. i believe you are right. i did install the quad view. it look so funny when the small NVG is following my eye. I will look out for the TACCA mod. I just need a small NVG to allow me to see MFD without toggle on and off.
  7. i getting the part on the target designated on the HSI. i will retry. forgive me for not completely RTFM lol REgard to the VT it was set at 1500 but i just don have the bomblet i will attach the track file later. Thanks for replying.
  8. These are my 2 observation. 1. Selecting CCIP mode for this weapon. MDF program shows CCIP. HUD shows it as AUTO regardless. Bomb fall line appears to be align to auto as well 2. Bomb drop in this manner appears to explode at the VT attitude and sound effect include bomblet dispense however no secondary explosion occurs and target remain unharm. I only try this on a single MP server. Unsure if anyone else face the same...
  9. Does anyone experience the same as i did? I used 3dmigoto to reduce the size of the NVG so i could see my MFDs When I turn on the NVG. the NVG seems to have an eye-tracking effect where the smaller NVG view seems to track my eye. so it ended up moving around the screen when i moved my eye.
