Updated without logging in, it rolled "back" to v XXX.17790 (from 17792), now it logs in correctly, downloading C130 now!
-
That's also possible, of course... Specifically, I managed to update DCS but not to install the C130, as that's locked behind the login procedure...
-
Still not logging in post update...
-
Update downloaded, but now the client needs to login again and it's saying that my password is wrong. Spoiler alert: it's not...

Ancona is East coast tho... And since we're at it, Cervia (LIPC) would also make a lot of sense.

Still haven't been able to reproduce the issue reliably and get it on a track, HOWEVER! There is a possibility for this weird behaviour to be linked to a joystick momentarily disconnecting (losing power, imagine a loose USB cable), in the sense that when the stick gets reconnected and DCS sees it again (might be just a fraction of a second, mind you), it goes back to working (and both the in-cockpit stick and axis bars in the controls menu move normally) but the simulator somehow filters / ignores part of that input. I'm still keeping my eye on it and will send you a track as soon as I get something even remotely reliable, thanks again!

Never said I was flying aero at 0.92, Snuten reported over 0.8-0.9 and I said even slower. If it starts to climb around 0.6, and by that I assume it goes past 2ish G in load factor, that's right in the middle of your 0.4-0.7 ballpark. Might just be me, but 2-2.5G feels way too lenient for a (strike) fighter at that speed with the stick buried in your crotch, and personally I don't recall the Viggen behaving like that before.
-
This very phenomenon happened to me just a few minutes ago, same speed range, maybe even a tad slower... At those speeds it only pulls up to 2-2.5 G maximum (stick all the way back), then as the speed decays the pitch rate and load factor increase again. I'll let you imagine how fun it is when you're flying slot in a 4ship doing aerobatics...

EDIT: Scratch that, I made it! Thank you! Nope, still invalid... Might be something on my end, 'cause the very first time I tried the old link it seemed like I was getting somewhere, then it just decided not to work for some reason...

First of all, Good Morning and thank you very much for this masterpiece! I am trying to join the discord but the invite link in the first page drops an error, could we maybe have a new one please? Thanks again! Arky

Instruments / controls are bugged (Mar26 Update)
arkady86 replied to arkady86's topic in Bugs and Problems
Attaching track, every set of tests is marked by canopy opening and closing: Gear lever Front (binding then mouse click) Compass and gyro behaviour Front Compass and gyro behaviour Back Bonus: Gear lever Back and spin test As far as I can tell, both compass and gyro seem to either get stuck in their housings (think a very cheap camping compass) or have some pretty heavy damping (compass especially, feels like molasses instead of whatever kind of alcohol you'd expect in there)... Apologizing for my tone (venting in the wrong place, my bad), how about a Special option to toggle the lock behaviour on and off (or rather, to auto-activate it with lever operation)? The Mossie would benefit from this too IMO... Thanks for your time NineLine! yak-inst-test-20250327.trk -
Quick recap of all the March Update bedlam... Front cockpit: - Whiskey compass either stuck or erratic - Same thing with the gyro - Landing gear lever moving, gear not actually working (if spawned midair) - Gear unlock button only affecting 3-way lever mapping (pointless complication) - Flap lever neutral position bugged, selecting neutral via binding goes all the way up or down, no mid-way - Pitch trim bindings don't work (scrolling the trim wheel does) - Gear emergency lever bindings work backwards (CLOSE opens it) Rear pit: Same instrument problems as front (Compass, Gyro) This comes from our own testing and other forum / Discord reports. Our acro team's having it pretty rough, not gonna lie...
