  1. Is it possible to also roll-back the firmware version? I currently use V1.0.15 and encounter massive tracking issues. I have the feeling it might have started ever since I upgraded from V1.0.14 .
  2. As none of the Crystal headsets support the Pimax handtracking module, you will need the Ultraleap Motion Controller. Edit: I stand corrected. The Crystal Light does not support the Pimax handtraking module I got mine cheap off eBay and stuck it to the front of my Crystal Light with double-sided sticky pads.
  3. Finally found the time to test this out. Reprogramming to Slugpad with the instructions supplied was straight forward - in some way. Windows 11 23H2 / Bluetooth & Devices calls them now Slugpad Left and Right with a Nintendo-style gamepad as icon. However, no new game controller in Game Controllers (Joy.cpl) or DCS, so unable to use in any way.
  4. They come with the latest firmware (bought during your Christmas special offer). I’ll have a look at the gamepad setting . Thank you
  5. Not really in your hands, but maybe you have an idea / suggestion. The F-14 Tomcat module doesn’t let me edit any mouse buttons. For the Viper, I set the middle button to call up the communications menu, which works a treat. In the Tomcat, I still have to use the keyboard (blindfoldedly) to call up the menu.
  6. Finally found it Somehow only worked through half the HTCC instructions . It's the troubleshooting via OpenXR-API-Layers-Win64-HKLM.exe that I was missing. Clicked on Fix it, and now it works a treat. Only minor issue is the scaling, i.e. big hand movements for little cursor movement. Will have a look through the Ultraleap Configuration document.
  7. My Slugmice arrived yesterday. Perfect fit, easy pairing and great functionality. The only issue I have is with the Ultraleap and/or it's integration in DCS. Or I might be too stupid to follow instructions. While moving my hands around the cockpit, I get a lot of accidental clicks from the Ultraleap. Settings in DCS are as follows: Special tab: Ultraleap: not enabled VR tab: Use Hand Controllers: Ultraleap Use Pointer and Touch: use on both hands everything else in that section is disabled - If I choose "Use no pointers or touch" for Use Pointer and Touch, I still see hands, but without any interaction - including disabling the Slugmice - Disabling Use Hand Controllers switches it all off (who would have thought...) Ultraleap control panel and HTCC are configured the way I understand they should be. Interestingly - and maybe part of the problem - all works the same with HTCC disabled or even uninstalled. Any Ideas?
  8. When I noticed that my Thrustmaster Cougar throttle (I guess that’s the one we’re talking about?) wouldn’t correspond with the AB setting in the plane, I fixed it the ‘analog’ way. I started off with calibration and adjusting settings in the Cougar control panel and DCS, with little success. Eventually, I remembered those rings around the axle inside the throttle case. Eight screws later, with the case open and DCS running, I loosened the ring responsible for the AB detent. I then moved the throttle until it was showing in the right position in the game and turned the AB detent ring accordingly. It is a fiddly job, as the throttle axis is just lying there loosely. I also noticed some slack with the potentiometer, which I fixed with blue tack. Now, my AB position is absolutely spot-on.
  9. By pressing the trigger while plugging in, you've deleted the Cougar's firmware. Helpful when you encounter an otherwise unsolvable issue, not so helpful if you don't know about it. Here is the solution: Download and install Hotas Cougar Foxy v4.0 HOTAS Cougar - Thrustmaster - Technical support website Run Foxy, go to Cougar in the menu bar and click on Flash upgrade / Update firmware to re-flash. Job done.
  10. OpenXR with a Windows MR Lenovo Explorer.
