  1. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, was just about to start playing again this morning after a couple months break. However having only seen this thread after the fact, my quest 2 app had already automatically updated to the new update jsut released this morning. I was already opted out of PTC so I dont believe there is a way to roll back. looks like its going to have to wait a wee bit longer :)) will keep an eye on this thread for updates
  2. I had this same problem too but with cold start as well, played on both buddyspike blueflag (cold start) and 4ya (hot start) Same conclusion as OP no outgoing transmission to tanker or AWACS I made a post about this earlier and someone responded that you can bind the "ready pre contact" to your hotas and it'll bypass the issue, you still won't hear any outgoing or incoming transmissions but apparently it will let you plug into the tanker. Haven't gotten a chance to test myself just yet though. Here's a link to my post with the bypass suggestion: Multiplayer Communication menu not working in F15-E ? https://forum.dcs.world/topic/330423-multiplayer-communication-menu-not-working-in-f15-e/
  3. Hi all, just putting this post here as I havent seen anything posted about this yet Below is the link to the post I made earlier As mentioned the communication menu in multiplayer does not work in the F15 on certain servers. I would try join up on the tanker, open my communications menu with the radio keybind I have set, request to rejoin..but I would hear nothing, there would be no audio from my pilot to ask to rejoin, therefore no response from the tanker Radios were on Set to the correct frequency Radios at full volume However it simply wouldn't work for the duration of my time playing. The servers I played on were buddyspike blueflag modern and 4ya tpve beta UK Thanks :)) Multiplayer Communication menu not working in F15-E ? https://forum.dcs.world/topic/330423-multiplayer-communication-menu-not-working-in-f15-e/
  4. Ahh thats okay thank you, I wasnt aware it had been reported already, I didnt look to hard obviously thank you for your response, ill try setting up a keybind for pre contact and see how I get on, thank you very much
  5. Apologies I should have clarified I did that too, all radios to full volume, tried contacting on both radios but the main issue being my pilot won't even begin the communication, after selecting the tanker > request rejoin there is no audio played from my pilot thanks for the fast response :))
  6. Hi guys, I was playing some multiplayer the other day on buddyspike blueflag & 4ya pve beta UK. I had planned on loading up with weapons and taking off with minimal fuel and joining up on the tanker on my way. Communication between my pilot and ground crew worked fine, no issues there. However once Airborne I tried to contact the tanker through the radio menu (radio on, correct frequency set) but my pilot wouldn't even speak or play any audio of the "request rejoin" option, nevermind not hearing a response back from the tanker. The same issue repeated itself on 4ya when trying to contact the AI awacs for a picture. Has anyone else experienced this ? Is it down to user error of missing a step along the way ? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you :))
  7. As the title says I believe I am having an issue where the resolution of my monitor is affecting DCS in VR. Currently Running 4080, 5900X and Q2 @ 90hz at 1.7 in the Oculus software. no issue with settings or performance up to as close as yesterday where I played MP for close to 2 hours. Steps I have taken to try ammend are as follows: -Cleaned and repaired DCS -Disabled and removed all mods -Ran DCS with and without OTT profile - no difference -Ran DCS with and without OpenXR toolkit enabled - no difference -Restarted all software and PC aswell as quest 2 -As you can see in the first 2 Images that while in the menu it works perfectly but as soon as I load into an instant action on any aircraft all I get is this window which Varies in size in what seems to be based on my Desktop resolution. -As can be seen when I run DCS using OTT with the profile neabled to set desktop resolution to 800x600 the box in the headset becomes even smaller again -Finally in the Third Image we can see that when DCS is Run in VR in the Single Thread Client it works just fine If anyone is having similar issues or knows how to fix this would be greatly appreciated If any more information is needed please let me know Thanks in Advance Rodeo/ Cormac **Edit** - After swithcing my PC off for a few hours the problem seems to have corrected itself. dcs.log
