  1. I just wanted to get back into flight simming connected everything but for some reason my throttle isn't recognized by windows 10 at all. Does anyone know what to do? It looks totally fine on the inside, and I never had issues with the throttle before. But I have some vague memory of having to do "something" to make it be seen in windows.
  2. Read previously in the thread how to do this, it should still work as far as I know.
  3. Eh, I can use the click trim method fine in game without FFB. I've never understood the issue with trimming the ka50, certainly it's not the most difficult part in the sim. Regarding click or hold just use whatever you feel is easier, I tend to mix between both depending on the situation.
  4. I just got a DK2 for cheap and tried it out on the Huey was the scariest thing I've done, I think it's the disconnect between flying and not flying that does it, I've piloted a real helicopter with no doors and no scares, also got a bit sea sick which I was surprised about because I've never had issues before. Was extremely fun though, I'm pretty sure the Oculus will support everything the Vive does in the end, so I hope it will not matter too much which one you chose, I've preordered the Oculus at least.
  5. If anything I noticed the complete opposite, roofs seemed fine to me. I could test later again, maybe today. I could completely remove my hand from the stick so something isn't right. Maybe it's material related.
  6. It's epilepsy, not bad memory. I've had epilepsy for almost 16 years now, luckily it's medicated and it was several years since my last seizure. I also know two others who suddenly developed it as adults for no reason. I've never had any issues playing DCS or any other video games for that matter, even if I strongly dislike blinking lights (because of it?). If it's just epilepsy, and not something else, then there is lots of good medication for it, and most don't have any or very little issues after getting one that suits you. Good luck.
  7. I flew around in the Nevada map and there doesn't seem to be any ground effect at all. I had no issue completely releasing hold on my joystick and still sit relatively still over the ground. It seem a lot harder (as it should) in the old map on 1.5.2
  8. This made no sense for me and was absolutely not clear. But yeah Wagner helped me and everything is good now. A mod can close the thread. Thanks!
  9. Yeah, I've not changed account. I'm logging into the same account as I have my a10 game on, and I have the game but not the map.
  10. I bought the A10C during beta (03-11-2010 according to the store) and I assumed I was gonna get the Nevada map so I never bought it while it was cheap. Did I misunderstand something or is there an error?
  11. After edge I don't care about anything else but a dynamic campaign. For me it doesn't matter how many maps or airplanes you put in the game if it's just going to be scripted missions.
  12. I make up for that by being perpetually sarcastic. :music_whistling:
  13. Please don't recommend the flight director, it's awful compared to good use of the AP. Yes it's "easy" to fly with the director on, it is however not very smart nor does it help you in any way. I've seen so many posts from people on this forum that have had trouble completing missions because they got thought to use the director instead of doing what you are meant to do and giving up most of the control to the AP and focus on the outside world.
  14. This is a "bug" in the flight model, doing this doesn't cause any stress to the air frame at all.
  15. Doubt it, it would just be more convenient, you could still tap the breaks. I don't see anyone in the thread that are against the supposed change. I want simplified steering as an option.
