  1. Good to know, I didn’t even realize I was switching that on! That makes two new things I’ve learned about the Hind now, I appreciate your attention to detail
  2. My apologies if my response came off as rude. I posted within this subforum assuming that ED Support would be viewing the track and have additional tools to quickly review and troubleshoot, did not realize that it is fellow DCS enthusiasts helping each other (which is part of what makes this community so awesome!) I was viewing it as communicating with a paid IT/Dev Support rather than my fellow virtual pilots. Anyhow, hope that clears up any miscommunication or negative tone that may have come from my prior comment. I would like to say that I appreciate your help, this is great since it’s been something I’ve been fighting with in the Mi-24 for some time now! Thanks for the tips - I’ll modify my tactics accordingly and remember this as a contingency in case Mr. Petrovich goofs up my gyros again.
  3. It’s an intermittent issue. I’m not going to spend hours trying to create the issue when I might get two hours a week at most to play DCS. It occurred during this mission so I sent the track. I had a cut MP4 that was less than a minute long but was informed to send a track instead of a video. Thanks for the reply! So when this issue occurs, just switch from PIC to CPG seat and back to PIC? Or is there a way to reset gyros in flight? In the meantime, I will check Chucks Guide and the manual for gyro procedures
  4. 2024 and still experiencing this. Conditions are during the day, visibility is good, below the clouds (ceiling at 8500 ft, I'm at about 1500 ft) and I can't lock consistently clearly visible Humvees in the Shkval at 5 km.
  5. Hind Targeting Issues.trkAttached is the track. You can see the first run-in with Petrovich I make is successful, but then the following run-ins, he does not detect any of the vehicles in the treeline. Then, I put myself into a hover where the M1A2 Abrams and Humvees are blatantly obvious in eyesight, and try getting petrovich to target several times, which he never discovers the target, and then I finally end the mission. This track was recorded in singleplayer, but this issue also occurred in multiplayer several times. I have also experienced this issue more than once in singleplayer, resulting in the missiles being unusable and requiring RTB.
  6. Good evening, I have noticed when flying specifically in multiplayer, Petrovich seems to lose his ability to find targets with the AGTMs. It seems intermittent, but I’ll have him look at an area where I can clearly see enemies, and he will never spot them. It seems to be whenever they are near smoke or a static object. Here’s a post from 2021 reporting the identical issue
  7. Not sure if it is pilot error, but when attempting to drop Mk82 AIRs in Ripple Mode, the plane instantly explodes as soon as I pickle the weapons and they leave the pylon. I have attached a video as well. 2023-06-25 19-01-34.mkv
  8. I am having the exact same issue in the Hind all of the sudden tonight -- not sure what started causing it. Petrovich seems to cause a CTD after the second or third search command, I've already hit it to send the crash report a couple times. Here's exactly what I'm doing Starting at At Tanf in Syria Takeoff from Ramp at night with a Ukranian Mi-24, 8x ATGM and 2x20x 80mm illum rockets Target range about 3km north of At Tanf, all Algerian (neutral, not set to red or blue) static objects: 2x T-72, 3x BTR-80, 3x BMP-1, 4x Ural 4320T, 4x technical with Dishkas I am usually able to get a spiral on the first target with Petrovich, but the second or third search results in a CTD. I made sure my brakes aren't mapped to W (read the comments above) and also tried with wheel brakes on and off during attack runs -- CTDs happened either way.
