  1. So people who I trust say, "We haven't been paid in months" isn't knowledge? Maybe to you it isn't with your lawyer loving mentality. ED is reticent to say they have even paid them or not. Thats a fact as well. They could have said that right after RB made their case publicly as a rebuttal. They didn't. That speaks volumes to anyone who can see the bigger picture. Sorry you can't. Maybe you can go find a lawyer to help you with that. It's working out swimmingly in this case.
  2. I am not defending RB to the hilt, thats where you are incorrect. I have said in the past you can't take RB at their word, but I do take the worker bees who haven't been paid at their word. They are two different entities. One is management, one is the workers. Want to know why nobody knows the facts? Because one side isn't talking at all. I won't respond do your dig at officers, because quite frankly thats beneath me so you go on, do you and have fun with that.
  3. I know what I know based upon the facts. I have former and some current .mil members and also commissioned officers in the USAF former and current who are saying they haven't been paid. Now, who didn't pay them? ED or RB? Nobody knows the truth to that without all the cards out on the table. I will tend to take their word since I was an AF Officer as well and usually lean towards trusting them and certainly more than you or quite frankly anyone defending ED to the hilt. Now as I said all this could be rendered moot if one party would plainly show in detail something that 100 percent refutes that. So yes, I know what I know based upon all available information.
  4. You have no idea what my background is and I don't know yours nor do I care. Means nothing to me. What I do know is one side won't even admit if they paid them or not. You want to hammer the head of a company that did something in breach of a contract? Fine. But what about all the worker bees who worked basically for free if RB is to be believed. People get so caught up in the "let the lawyers deal with it" when in a lot of cases that just makes things worse. Lawyers love billable hours and will milk that as long as they can. I am sure anyone who has to deal with them knows this to be true in a lot of cases. I doubt it has to do with the 15E and more likely with the Super Tucano. Stop shilling for ED or even RB. Plenty of people call out RB and rightfully so for going all in, but are reticent to even look at the lack of info from ED that would clear a lot, and I mean a lot of stuff up in the public sphere.
  5. I don't care about all that for this discussion point. RB makes model, ED sells said model. ED verified the model before it was released to the public so I doubt it has anything do with the F15E. So, once the first payment for sales were due for that specific model, they should have arrived. I doubt this is a once per year payment schedule. If you sell something on someone else's behalf that they put their blood sweat and tears into, then withhold those funds FOR ANY REASON is and extremely low thing to do. Thus I would put out the evidence publicly that we did indeed pay them what they were owed up until a certain point.
  6. Then thats not a ME or a You problem. Thats the banks issue and thus it needs to be corrected. Don't be so obtuse to think that in modern times a bank transfer to the correct account number that has been validated can't be easily checked to see if it was deposited. This isn't 1940 anymore every little thing is tracked, every little thing is easily verifiable.
  7. If I said I paid you and you said, um no you didn't. All I have to do is find the bank transaction which was completed, show that document to you and thats that. Do you need a lawyer for that?
  8. The lizard people aren't real?
  9. Better option than a lot I have seen here. If the SE isn't part of the IP issue then to me thats a no brainer. People LOVE to bring lawyers into the situation getting 500 per billable hour. They love it. They usually muck things up so much the solution never becomes clear. What could have been solved over a couple of beers now gets extended to oblivion. My guess is RB said F you and then ED said F you right back and here we are. Once lawyers get involved, nobody wins.
  10. Sure it is, if one party is clearly in the wrong. If both parties have part of the <profanity> sandwich then it gets hard. If I know I am right, then I don't care what they say, I know I am right. You don't need 7 years of law school if someone is clearly in the wrong. That should be fairly easy to figure out. I truly wonder if there is some loophole that ED didn't see or know about and is trying to shut that down now. Thats the only thing that I can see being an issue. If RB was clearly in the wrong, there is nothing any lawyer could do to change that. Someone here was right, and someone was wrong. I highly doubt both were right, or both were wrong.
  11. Shooting your mouth off, isn't the same as having factual evidence that cannot be refuted. If this is was cut and dry as a lot of people think it is, then this is zero issue. We aren't negotiating with North Korea about nukes or even part of a capital murder case. No, this is between two parties in the sim world. One factual statement about the situation put out in the public would solve a lot of the wtf questions and give people who paid hard earned money, and still do on this sim. If you cannot do that, then you must not being on completely solid ground. They won't even say if they have paid RB or not. That is a very easy yes or no, the why as I stated a few days ago doesn't need to be discussed. Thats a very, very simple question and it would invalidate all the RB has been saying. Seems pretty easy to me.
  12. If you are fully in the right, without question and nothing can change that, then silence is your worst enemy unless it's say, an actual criminal trial where you hold cards close to your chest. This isn't that and the hiding behind lawyers generally makes me suspicious. If you need a lawyer to protect you then my guess, it isn't as cut and dry as people would seem to think. Oh my god, you spoke the truth, it is unassailable, I am going to use to it against you. Thats makes absolutely no sense. If it is as cut and dry and you are still hiding behind the lawyers, that doesn't do anyone any favors.
  13. Why? We don't know anything for certain. In my opinion both sides haven't covered themselves in glory. This isn't a one party issue.
  14. The SE is in no way safe if RB doesn't stay in the game. I don't trust ED to do right by the SE. I just don't.
  15. As I said I doubt it's that, I truly do. ED updates something even when the devs are ready for it and something breaks. Seems much better than it used to be, but still. So when you haven't had an update in 3 months and counting..the gremlins are going to start showing up and showing up in force.
  16. I highly doubt that. Something just broke. However if they did, bravo. You only do things like that to protect yourself for some reason.
  17. Now the radar is borked without a non DCS workaround which means it's broke. Period. If stuff like this starts happening, and more and more it will, then it is incumbent on ED to stop the sales. Period.
  18. The real question is, has RB been paid what they are due from F15E sales. That is an easy yes or no. Now the why doesn't have to be told, but the first question is easy to say. Yes or no.
  19. When there is no movement over something rather trivial in a lot of ways, getting the principles together sans lawyers sometimes is the best method.
  20. Real problem is the lack of desire to get something done imo. What needs to be done is the principles need to meet up on a Friday, and not leave until a resolution is met. Period. Too many people just take too long to make kind of decision. A lot more would get done if this was the policy.
  21. In the end, if there is an issue with the MCS side of the house, that has nothing to do with the 15E and us as the users. It can't be due to the 15E because we were just told they can update it at will whenever they want. Thats the real issue I think that if people understood fully would really piss them off. They are separate issues, and they have nothing to do with each other. I will offer it may be that RB is throwing a temper tantrum and won't work on the E model regardless. From what I have heard I don't think thats true but I for one have no real feel on what's gong on over there.
  22. Yeah it's pretty convenient right? This guy, he knows a lot more than he lets on but like a press secretary is NEVER going to give you the truth and will leave out critical details as you just said. I mean, they can work on the module, but they ain't gonna get paid. Who does that benefit? RB? No, it benefits ED. See, comments like that swing me back towards RBs side of the house.
  23. Methinks you don't know what Rain did IRL. Touching grass? ROFL. Anyhow, yeah I never remember RB having a store.
  24. It literally cannot be more complicated than that. You take a percentage of profit make off of each sale and you send it to the party that made it. Thats pretty f-ing simple. If some issue arose with IP stuff for another module that gets litigated on its own. The payment that is due needs to come in. Now, if they payment has been made then ED is in the clear. Again, if it is an IP issue with the A29 for instance, that has zero to do with RB being paid for a module that is licensed, sold and currently in the sim. A lot of people seem to be doing things to make themselves feel better, vs doing what is best for both companies and the player base. We all get left in the dust. This possibly cannot be that hard. We aren't sitting at the table negotiating nukes with rocket man.
  25. Yep. Problem is you have ED shills, and Razbam shills. I am neither. I just read the teas leaves and nobody, and I mean nobody is covering themselves in glory at the moment. Razbam airing dirty laundry without proof to back it up is just that. Hot air. Anyone can say anything. ED hiding behind the lawyers and on the other hand still selling modules that aren't being updated is very uncouth as well. If ED pulled all RB modules from the storefront pending litigation resolution then I would applaud that and most probably would.
