  1. And, in the end, it worked. After much testing this afternoon/ evening, the solution was to disable G-Sync completely, as simple as that. Even so, I still have to do some testing, because when I open the map (F10) in the Kola scenario, as an example, it freezes for 20 seconds aprox., but after a while, everything works correctly again. One step has been taken, but now I have to get all the peripherals and consoles working, one by one, until they all work together as before. Thank you very much for the help. In any case, in the corresponding section, I suggest to the administrators that, if possible, a tutorial could be created to configure DCS from scratch, with Windows settings, with adjustments in the simulator settings, etc. It's very negative that in the end we'll spend more time configuring the equipment than actually flying. I'm aware that there are 1,000,000 different computers due to their components and OS versions, but I'm sure, a permanent post can be made with these things, updating them at the pace of the administrators or as needed. "Parking cores", "not running in administrator mode", "no game bar", "G-Sync stuff", "V-sync off", etc, etc., etc. A list of recommendations to ensure that installing DCS will not be unfriendly. When everything works fine, there's no problem. When you suddenly update and everything stops working, it drives you crazy. What I discovered today about G-Sync is just one of the 10 or 15 things I've had to change in the process. Thanks again!.
  2. I've also tried them without any positive results. I suspect it's a resolution issue. The main display is 4K with G-Sync at 144Hz, and the MFDs have a 1024 resolution. I don't know if there's some kind of conflict. I´m thinking about a conflict between G-Sync and MFDs. I´ll try to change to 4k, 60hz, no G-Sync this evening and see what´s happen.
  3. I've made the changes, and it still doesn't work. Now, a Winwing SimAppPro warning appears in the lower left corner saying "MFD Display Warning." It's frustrating. Not flying since april..... More tomorrow.
  4. LucShep, thank you very much for your help. A really great answer from your side!. I´m thinking about changing the RTX 3080 by a RTX 5080 Super when it will come, let´s see what happens next... Anyway, I will make a clean installation with 537.58 by now, or 566.03. Again, thank you very much for your support.
  5. I just the same thing for me.
  6. Thank you Czar66, I will try to do it ASAP. I´ve been checking many different option and I´ll try to put all of them in place, one by one, double check. I´m on leave, but next week I´ll do it. I was with 566.36, but DCS is not the only thing I play, MCFS 2024, ARMA 3, Diablo IV, Stalker 2 and a few more. I will revert to 566.36. Thank you Diego999
  7. I'm still having performance issues with stuttering after reinstalling DCS completely from scratch. I've started testing, starting the SIM with nothing plugged in, no HOTAS, no displays, no extra modules, no mods of any kind other than DCS. In other words, bare-metal DCS. The version I currently have of the Nvidia drivers, with an Asus TUF RTX3080 OC, is 580.88. When I start the FA-18 in this configuration, it runs smoothly and perfectly without stuttering. The moment I connect the WINWING MIP, the full HOTAS and nothing else, the moment I get into the runway with the plane and begin to climb, the stuttering starts, making it impossible to fly, let alone complete a mission. I'm reinstalling everything in slow motion, due to work, absences, family, etc. Everything was working fine until the update in middle march. After that is a nightmare. After reading threads like this one: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/369884-choosing-the-right-nvidia-driver-is-the-latest-version-always-the-best/?_fromLogin=1 Could you give me your opinion on which are the best versions of the NVIDIA drivers for DCS? That thread is from earlier this year, and some changes may have occurred regarding the versions. dcs.logdcs.log.old Thank you very much.
  8. First of all, thanks a lot for the help. Well, if we only consider my history with ED: I was an SU-27 Flanker (SSI) user in the 90s, Flanker 2.0 late 90s, a LOMAC user since 2003 when it was introduced (I still have the original CD), and I bought my first DCS module in 2011, having 44 modules/ terrain/ missions now, as the ED admins can surely attest, you can consider I haven't been around very long, given the number of posts I've published. Aside from that, given what you mentioned about mods, I must be very lucky because I've never had any problems with any update before, never ever. I've had to completely reinstall the simulator several times when I changed computer components, but never because of an update. I have colleagues and friends experiencing the same problems since this latest update, some of them without any mods, with a "clean" and newly installed sim, some with VR and others without, so it's not a problem isolated to mods in my opinion, but I´m not a developer. That's not even considering the CPU overheating issues we've been experiencing since the update. I don't write on forums or news comments, social media, etc., to avoid certain types of users—which isn't your case, since you've tried to help me—who are always against everything, enjoy harming others, "full time professional haters" or simply they consider themselves to be in possession of the absolute truth, and many other things besides. I repeat, I'm not referring to you. I read a lot, perhaps too much, but that doesn't mean I've been in this world for a short time just because I don't comment. In my case, it goes back to Psion's Flight Simulator on the ancient Spectrum, which was my first sim. After that, almost every sim on the market came along on various platforms, both civilian and military. Thanks for your advice, and I'll try disabling the mods and doing the cleanup suggested above. I need DCS-BIOS to use some modules, as you can see in the attached photo of my setup. As you can see, I'm exclusively with the FA-18C at the moment. F-16 is awaiting. Seeing that there are quite a few people with knowledge about configurations, actions to take after an update, and other important aspects for DCS stability, perhaps someone could consider creating a guide. In my background, almost everything is written and implemented based on guide documents. I think it wouldn't be a bad idea. I'll leave the challenge to the administrators (who, I know, have a lot of work to do). Thanks for the help again.
  9. Thank you for your help. The question that comes to mind is why it was working 3 days ago and now it's not after the update, if before I had the same mods, the same hardware, the same drivers, etc. It's surreal.
  10. Good afternoon, My DCS was working perfectly and without any issues. Yesterday I updated and I'm having the same performance issues, freezing than the others, and it's become unplayable. What I don't understand is how it was working perfectly 3 days ago, and now it's unplayable after the update. Here's my log. Thank you in advance and for your patience. dcs.log
  11. Hi!, Same thing for me. It´s not a problem, but...
  12. Hi!, First of all, thank you for your great work. I have tried to run it after place it in C:\Users\myusername\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft and it appears in the DCS menu but no instant action menu at all, so I can´t fly it. What´s wrong? Thank you
  13. Wise words, "Well....I think this got a little out of hand." "I don't need people to believe me" is the answer to an arrogant "Just simply saying "It's wrong" won't make people believe you." Action - reaction. I have tried from the beginning to make a contribution, based on the experience, mine and those who truly pilot the aircraft, but it is clear that there are people who prefer to question everything and hammer what they understand as "and what will this stupid guy know?" ". I´m sure that they all are trully combat pilots with license to fly. From my part, I can only comment that we are extremely lucky to have dozens of "Petes Mitchells" who make the DCS forum an unparalleled wonder. I would like to know if any of those who usually comment on forum posts and trample on others have even gotten into the cockpit of a Cessna 152 (to say an easy one) and have moved the controls on the ground. I get the impression that they are the typical ones who go to air festivals to take photos and are knowledgeable. By the way, I have a colleague working with me in JSOC who works like this, so I know what I'm talking about. He spends the day asking me details (because I do have experience flying in some aircraft) which he then makes his own, and after a while he forgets and tells me again as if he were the source and had lived it. No problem. We are on the network. This is seen every day in every forum, social network and in any system based on anonymity in which many hide. It is the main reason why I prefer not to comment in forums and social networks. It is the problem of written language, you never know the tone used by the person who is exposing it. Thanks to this enriching experience, I will continue to live up to one of our mottos: "Work hard in silence, let success make the noise". Happy day to everyone, bye.
  14. Obviously, the jester on duty couldn't be missing. First of all, try to write every single letter, then talk about subtitles. You don't know me at all, I don't think you're familiar with me. I'm sure that if you couldn't hide in anonymity, you would be more careful with your jokes. And I'm already being too polite to you. Thank you for sympathy
  15. Well, let them do their job, and let them to tell me that.
