  1. Hi Everyone, So when I try to bind switches on my WW Orion to my Canopy switch and then a different switch or button to the Canopy Handle, somehow the canopy handle (i.e. the "Spider") stops working even when I try to activating with the mouse. But if I remove all key bindings for the canopy (switch and handle) then the mouse works to shut the canopy switch and the canopy handle. Any idea how to bind the canopy handle (a/k/a the yellow spider) to a button or swirtch and have it work? Seems like a bug....
  2. Hi all, So for reasons I can't explain or understand, DCS now crashes when I try to start it in VR unless I am using SteamVR as the OpenXR runtime. Not sure what caused this. Any ideas? I have an intel i13900, and 4090. and Varjo Aero headset...I have the command line as "......--Force_OpenXR" and that hasn't changed. Any ideas what could be causing it. I had installed the new Nvidia App and updated to the latest Varjo base, but removing them didn't solve the problem,. Any suggestions? Thank you.
  3. I didn't clock that there were frequency limits to the 2 bands. So I was entering the UHF frequency into the VHF band and vice versa...once I realized what the correct limits were: • COM1 covers the UHF band (225.000 – 399.975 MHz) and is used for primary voice communications. • COM2 covers the VHF band (108.000 – 151.975 MHz) and is used as a backup for voice communications. It was working fine.
  4. Figured it out. I was dong something wrong.
  5. Hi all, Have been trying to work the radio on the F16 and whenever I enter a new frequency to tune to an ATC (Sukhumi, for example), the entered new frequency just flashes after I hit enter and the radio doesn't switch over. Am I missing something or is this a bug? Thank you in advance.
  6. Thank you. Actually discovered that on my own today. Appreciate the help.
  7. Thanks. that was it. But how do I find out which frequency to dial to for the various ATCs?
  8. Hi all, For some reason, when I try to communicate with ATC or wingmen in Instant Action they no longer respond.....they always used to (ATC would give me an Azimuth or tell me I'm cleared to land....Wingmen would acknowledge orders....now for some reason this doesn't happen anymore. Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm flying the F16, BTW. thank you in advance for any insight you can provide.
  9. Yep. Found it. That solved it beautifully. Cursor issue issue resolved as well. Thanks to all. Flew MT w DFR and it was AMAZING. Can't wait to see where they go from here. Thanks again to everyone for their help.
  10. Also, does this solve the double cursor problem?
  11. Great. Thanks to all, but what is the actual command to bind and where do I find it?
  12. I thought I did, but maybe I didn't....which specific command does it? Where do I find "VR-Recenter" not seeing it in controls....
  13. Hi all, Fairly new to DCS AND VR. Have a 4090 system with an i9 and 64MB. The issue I'm having is weird. I can get MT to open on my Varjo Aero, l but for some reason, it open in the hangar splash screen with me on the wings of the flanker or Mig 29 (whichever it is) and with the menus way down by my feet in the headset. I think someone mentioned having a similar problem above, but didn't see if there was any resolution for it. Moreover when I fly this way it looks like I'm sitting on top of the canopy looking down into my plane. I've tried Num5 to center the view as well as the GUI commands to center view but nothing has worked. I think someone mentioned having a similar problem above, but didn't see if there was any resolution for it. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix? I'm not sure if it's a bug in the Aero headset or in DCS. Any help/or advice would be greatly appreciated.
