HHHHHHHHHHH started following Bullet Impacts on glass , Minor cockpit lighting issues in external view , Iglas turning around and hitting own helicopter and 2 others

Hi, I noticed recently that for all flyable versions of the F1 (I haven't tested the AI though they probably are the same) many of the cockpit elements glow bright red in the external model when the cockpit lighting is on. In addition, the F1BE rear seat lacks a visual effect on the external model when the cockpit lighting is on, except for a few stray elements which glow red, such as the mirror hinges. Thanks.

fixed Iglas turning around and hitting own helicopter
HHHHHHHHHHH posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi, I noticed an issue today, when trying to launch an Igla when it isn't locked on to a target. It will turn around and hit my helicopter. igla-manual-unlocked.trk In this track, I launch an Igla in manual mode, and it successfully hits me. igla-sun-auto-locked.trk In this track, I launch an Igla in automatic mode, with it locked onto the sun. It does not successfully hit me. igla-target-locked.trk This track demonstrates that when locked onto a target properly, it has no trouble guiding. Could this be addressed? Thanks. -
Would it be possible to have the effect change with engine power, instead of constantly being very dense? Thanks

Access to the countermeasures panel ?
HHHHHHHHHHH replied to TheSkipjack95's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
The bind is windows + number pad 5. (Custom snap view 5) I have it bound to a switch on my throttle base as it's momentary and I don't have a number pad. -
I would like to see radar heating/overheating, and modelling of the radar and scope warm-up time. I can’t wait for improvements to this module to make it the best in dcs.

Hi, As the roadmap isn't up-to-date, what is next for the Mirage F1 apart from fixing bugs? I'm very excited for the radar and rwr improvements! Thanks

Is this planned or could it be considered to have the controls on the rear electrical panel, including the circuit breakers, function? Thanks.

Yesterday I was flying at night and was trying out the various cockpit lighting switches. I noticed that the switch for the real panel lights (on the electrical system control panel) does not turn any lights on the rear panel. I assume this is a bug. Thanks.

Potential IFF transponder functionality
HHHHHHHHHHH replied to HHHHHHHHHHH's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
The functionality is now available on the mirage 2000, it would be cool to see it here too. -
I saw in the razbam discord earlier today that they were developing a more in-depth IFF interrogator and transponder simulation, with the different modes properly represented. From what I understood, they want to share this system with other developers. I know that the F1 (at least the ones we have so far) do not have interrogators but they do have transponders. I think that the more realistic IFF could improve the cold war time period, placing more emphasis on intercepts for visual identification. Is this something the Mirage F1 developers may consider implementing? Thanks.

Would it be possible to have the damage to the glass be visible inside the cockpit? It looks great on the outside and I think it would add a lot of immersion to be hit and actually see the damage from the cockpit view. Thanks

Should the sound of the starter cutting out be more noticeable? It is easy to hear it spooling down here: Also from this video, is the fire in the exhaust on start something that will be modelled? Does the real mirage f1 have any significant ecs/fan/air conditioning sounds? What will the future rwr sounds sound like? Are they unique or pretty simple beeps? One last question, the spring-loaded doors on the sides of the intakes are slightly open when the engine isn't running in dcs. Is this correct? Sorry about all the questions, I don't really expect answers for most of these. Good job on the mirage f1 module.

Hi, I’ve noticed that high wind speeds can cause the alignment to fail as the plane will move slightly. Is this realistic?
