Better? Yeah, better. But I think it's not the level everyone expected. Definitely not the level of Orbx(don't know if they even have anything to do with this map except on paper). Maybe in time it will become something good, but for now it's average in my opinion, just like Afghanistan. It's definitely not bad, it's just that for me Sinai seems more detailed and doesn't seem like a field of pixels but quite reflective of the actual landscape.

Northern Israel / Southern Lebanon detail removed
Romandv replied to Flying Toaster's topic in Bugs and Problems
Extremely frustrating situation, as Sinai is my favourite map and I hardly ever fly Syria. I really hope that the situation will be resolved, I have enough experiences with my 3 crutch-module from RB yet they will be joined by a crutch-Sinai. -

1. Yaw axis is assigned but does not work. A red circle is displayed. 2. Mirrors have a graphic problem(MT).

Apparently an error where DCS thinks you are not a "client".

The visor on the AV8B hasn't worked for 2 or 3 years now. Sure, you can say it's because of RB, but who's going to fix it?

I tried to fly a helicopter and I think I understand what the problem is - it's the same place, just the distance of detail gives such a picture - close up everything is fine, but it's worth to be at least a little higher and everything turns into muddy spots. I don't know what it is caused by, maybe by the load on the system, so the detail deteriorates so much. Although, if it works in Syria and Sinai, it's strange why it's required here to reduce the clarity of the loaded landscape at altitude so much.

Thanks for your help! I didn't realize it was modeled, that's really nice.

If you look turn the camera to the left of this part of the aircraft, as in the screenshot, everything is fine, but but if you look to the right (front) there is no sound. This bug does not always occur. dcs.log dcs.log

This thread I found by searching. I'll just create a post in the bug thread.

To some extent I agree, after all Afghanistan did have a lot of helicopters operetions under both Soviets and USA and it's a bit odd to get something worse than Sinai which has excellent detail apart from some minor things, but in the case of the former and latter it's EA and I knew what I was getting into. I have no complaints, based on my short flight time, since I bought the map just yesterday, I would have liked a little more detail, but am willing to wait and the main thing is to let this map evolve.

My expectations remain at the level of a working product. Of course, you can say that these are RB's mistakes, but maybe RB should be forgotten about forever, the main thing is that a proper attitude towards users would be very welcome. First of all to new users. Enough time has passed to start maintaining the product at a high level - that's what ED is aiming for, isn't it? The visor and animation issues are really minor things, they just get in the way.

I saw a post in the regional thread that they won't develop it, but will support it. Yes, about the pilot's epileptic seizures it was written that they won't fix it, but I think they should. As for the visor, I think it's not a big problem for a large dev.

I agree with you. At first I was upset that I couldn't get a refund for the F15E(Steam), then I just left it in the hangar for a long time, but the other day I decided to go back and I'm convinced again - it's an awesome module. The only thing I don't like is the epilepsy in the pilot and the visors that visually don't close. I've seen that there are laser issues with rearming, but haven't encountered any myself. Overall, I've stopped blaming ED/RB, searching for the truth or predicting what will happen next, I just enjoy flying this airplane. Even if it breaks tomorrow and is abandoned, I won't forget this beautiful module.
