That's a very accurate statement. If it ends today, most people will forget tomorrow. New users are more likely to be unaware of the problems at all. As for the A8VB, I would be fine if it just worked, no hope for improvements, no bets on the F15E - there seems to be no one to deal with it anymore and the ED returns are not encouraging. I wouldn't worry about SA, I'm pretty sure there won't be any problems, otherwise there would have been by now. I recently bought Orbx Kola from the same developers and I have no worries. There was a thread on hoggit yesterday about HB not getting paid earlier, as well as RB. Where is HB now and where is RB... That's what understanding of doing business is all about.

Hmm, yeah, I think I get it now. I guess I just treat these modules differently: good children of bad parents. My only hope is that they have a good foster family.
-
It is time to forget about these modules, it is very strange why there is further discussion when there is no new information (and will not be). Each of the modules already has some problem and if in the new patch ED will fix it, there is no point in it - there will be no full-fledged support now anyway. The only thing I've noticed is that there is less "got to pay RB" level nonsense. Well, maybe except that they text each other in discord, yeah.

I don't see the point in worrying about radar or anything, the whole trying to use a product that isn't serviced is a very odd thing to do. I've left the F15E/M2000/AV8B until better times, if they come. Even if the radar works tomorrow, something else will break after tomorrow, so I don't see any point in wasting my time at this point. Phantom and Kiowa release, Afghanistan and Chinook coming soon, so there is something to do and will be further along. I realise that many people don't like the situation or feel sorry for the money spent, but it won't solve anything, so there's no point in wasting time and nerves on something that doesn't depend on us.

Худ (перед стеклом) включается в планеровщике миссий. А худ который в шлеме, как я понял, работает только с найтвижном.

What did I think of Kiowa? It needs to improve in some areas!

Thank you so much for your help! Even after reading the post, I didn't find the knob right away) The light is great- 591 replies

I don't know, I don't do development. I assume they're talking about what they can.
-
Because ED wants to keep these modules running. But that doesn't mean the F15E will get development, it will just work.

Advice for New PC Needed
Romandv replied to Captain Chuck's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
My system +/- has similar performance(7700X/7900XT/1440P). Running DCS on max settings, FPS is always 60. I have 32GB RAM, I would buy another 32GB now. I have a 1TB+500GB SSD. Need at least 2 or 2.5. Modern games are too heavy, but I'm already too lazy to remove the video card to put another 1TB. -

It just has normal textures, maybe a lot of people just have too much demand. To be honest, before I bought it I was worried that it was really bad, but when I bought it it turned out to be fine. It would be nice if the gun belt moved, but that's just my wish. And who cares about textures with such a beautiful FM and secret Mossad laser weapon: All of this is just confirmation that everything needs to be checked out for yourself. Actually dev could have replied something in the thread or in general too, as silence leaves users with negative posts. Maybe about some improvements, perspectives and any little things, it's better than nothing.- 591 replies

I bought it, in 3 hours found nothing to annoy me. It's good that the sound will be improved, the gun and rocket sound is ok but not wow. I think this helicopter is either love at first flight or nothing, so a lot of critical reviews. For me it's a great purchase(Steam, so no pressure from "failed purchase" - I had 2 hours to get my money back and write here what I didn't like). I liked the FM, everything is fine on the technical side. To stay on topic I will add just a few things: 1) I don't know what will be changed in the sounds, but I would like AI to report on its actions. 2) The light at night from the lamp above is bad, I don't know why it's needed at all. Maybe in a real helicopter it is like that. 3) If you put the doors, the 2 pilot hears sounds as if there are no doors. With 1 pilot everything is fine, the sound is muffled. By the way, about the price: I usually don't want to give the full amount for aircraft, but for helicopters it's never a pity - this market is extremely specific and it's hard to get a lot of money with it, trivially because there are few buyers, so the choice is small. This is the situation in X-Plane, but it's the same in DCS too. I don't know why ED made so many helicopters, maybe a big company can have resources for that.- 591 replies

As far as I understand, people like everything but the visuals? Wanted to buy one last week, but took a break - too many different opinions. I haven't made a decision to buy or not yet, just adding to my wallet. After watching a lot of videos on youtube it seemed to me that the graphics are average, not bad and not good. I did like the animated pilots though. I can't say I'm impressed with graphics like F4E for example, just not bad. But the animation of the pilots is great.- 591 replies

I'd be happy to have any US Navy helicopters. I doubt there will be any Soviet helicopters unless from the ED themselves. DCS has a problem with red aircraft, not helicopters.
-
You could write them a letter or make arrangements, as this problem is, shall we say, not widespread? Steam, with a 2 hour and 2 week policy, of course refuses us and they are not interested in information from customers, but maybe information from ED will get results.

As far as I know, these are the same people who made Kola under the Orbx brand and there were no problems with SA before - it gets updates as it is handled by other people. Not quite sure what this has to do with RB modules.
-

Hello! I'm thinking of buying a KW. Can anyone compare with the F 4E? I wouldn't want it to be worse in terms of performance, I get 50 FPS in Kola at some airports instead of the stable 60 FPS on all other modules. (7700X/7900XT/1440p)- 591 replies

ENG: "ED is not going to modify other people's modules in any way. We are trying to keep what we have working." Even in a bad scenario, we will likely get what we already have in working order. Personally, that's enough for me in terms of RB aircraft, i'm not optimistic even if they come back, as this kind of precedent is a very negative case.

It's pretty obvious that even if all the third party developers disappear, ED isn't going anywhere and will continue on from here. Another issue is that there are chances that some other dev might do the same thing like RAZBAM and what will you do? I want ED to draw some conclusions and be able to actually support all the modules it has, not just on paper. Besides the 3 dead modules I have now, I don't need 10 others in the same condition. It would be nice if your company could provide some information on this issue so that we can buy third party modules without having to worry that they may not work tomorrow.

f-15e only ED policy on refunds for Razbam products

f-15e only ED policy on refunds for Razbam products
Romandv replied to markturner1960's topic in Payment and Activation
I'm not asking you to refund your Steam balance. I want to switch to standalone and get a refund of any kind. If I migrate, I have nothing to do with Steam anymore, you will have all my modules, right? -

Romandv replied to markturner1960's topic in Payment and Activation
I'd like to hear the reason why you don't refund Steam customers, and there are a lot of them. I understand that there are no ways to refund exactly on Steam platform, but you refuse even when switching to standalone. All those who bought modules on Steam are your customers. -
How? RB tried a manipulation that failed. This is perhaps the most important thing in the whole argument between them and ED. I absolutely don't care if RB gets the money or not. I paid the money through the ED, I've fulfilled my contractual obligations, it is not the end user who has to think about planning and consequences - now you're trying to manipulate with words about ‘salary’ too.
