Gently used one local to me for $500... Is that a no-brainer? Any chance it will run decently on i7 9700k + 2080ti and 32gb ram?

I know this is petty, but wondering if anyone has considered replacing the white bits on the STECS standard? I half expect VKB to come out with pop in replacements at some point, but what do I know??... Interested to hear others' opinions and solutions.

what monitor or vr headset do you have? pc hardware the only thing to upgrade;; what hotas do you use?

I have an 8020 rig and just pressed BUY NOW on the 2 pack of Cougar MFDs. I wonder if anyone has ideas for attaching? Not tape or velcro I'm sure I'll figure something out once I see them, I just can't tell if they have holes or points which to run a bolt through to a t-nut. If they don't work, I may return and go with the winwing ones that come with back brackets that probably have more attachment options. Just wanted to see if anyone has already done this with the Cougars. Thanks.

Exactly. I always ha e these filled yellow squares and tms right short does nothing. I kinda want to trial the f18 and see if same thing happens. No idea if radars work similarly.

Maybe you know this.. the mfd button to change TV/bhot/whot is, I believe, OSB 6 (or 7) first or second along the right side of screen.

The example WITH data link is exactly what I'm experiencing. Cannot "soft lock" as Tenkom says. Technically I think that is actually meant to be turning a target track to a System track (using TMS Right). And therefore cannot cycle thru system track to select one to bug.

I haven't made a track file before. But I'll try it.

I'm still new to DCS, and I realize there's a 90% (prob higher) chance my issues are user-errors... But, I really struggle to get TWS to behave like the manual and related videos suggest it should. Main issue: I see several Track Targets and from what I read, I should be able to TMS Right to convert all those to System Targets (empty boxes). That does not seem to work any time I've tried. Sometimes a TMS Up with cursor over a Track Target will convert it to Sys Tgt, but not reliably. And I can never TMS Right to cycle thru System Tgts, probably because I never have multiple, even though there are multiple radar contacts. Ad a result, I find myself way behind when I'm in bvr. Couple more questions, including how to achieve DTT, but I'll wait on that. Thx for any help.

I'm new so no great experience, but while using hcms for first time today I never did get the ellipse as I was trying g the dogfight modes and missile type/select(?). I saw a vote yt videos that clearly show the ellipse, so interested to find solution. Thx all.
