Hello, Preferably for experimented simmers. It's a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 with the doubled power mod (doubled internal resistors). The FFB motors are powered externally with an included AC 220V DC 24V 5A transformer. The original power supply board in the base of the FFB has been removed (it wasn't powerful enough and got hot). A switch on the base of the FFB allows you to turn the force on/off. Google "DCS MS FFB2 modded stick for you" for the power mod. There's a 20cm carbon fiber tube extension glued on the FFB base and a CH Products Combat Stick at the top. The FFB2's Z-axis rudder is no longer available. The stick can be rotated (and removed but wires cannot be removed) for right- or left-handed use (it's held by friction, but can be glued). There are two USB ports, one for the FFB2 and one for the Combat Stick. Used WIN11 DCS (warbirds and helicopters) and Condor Simulator (gliders). Force and effects can be managed with github joeyjojojunior/simFFB for DCS. In Condor Soaring this can be done in 'setup' without simFFB. The base attachment system is included and can be installed by removing the 3 screws under the base, add second plate, and rescrew with the wooden base on top. FFB2: 8 buttons (4 original on the FFB base, 4 on top of the stick, medium quality), extended slider on the base (throttle, trim, pitch, etc.). FigtherStick: X and Y axes with FFB, trigger (fire), 3 buttons, and 8 hats. Everything works (used for many many hours, now I moved to Rhino FFB) but there will be no support except for quick questions to answer. Asked 99E + shipping (EU only) + insurance (5 Kgs). Private sale, no guarantee or return. Regards

Just retried. Auto unhook set only just before unload. And unload very low. Message history shows it works. So solved. Thanks.

ok, thanks.

Cargo auto unhook does not work. In attached mission test. In Oilfield and crew campaign missions. With covers open or close. autounhook.trk Mi-8MTV2 - IA - Mariana - Mycargo.miz

Tested with mission editor. Attached mission test. Ramp hot start. F Key (clutch release) before takeoff. Changing only time to 0h45 or 12h45 in Mission Editor. Day: 12h45 altitude Autopilot works. Night: 0h45 altitude autopilot does not work. Enjoy. Mi-8MTV2 - IA - Mariana - Mycargo.miz

1.3Salon Night Extreme Autopilot altitude does not work
Pju replied to Pju's topic in Mi-8MTV2 Crew Part 1 Campaign
Ok, so tested with mission editor. It's a DCS MI-8 problem, not your campaign. Attached mission test. Ramp hot start. F Key (clutch release) before takeoff. Changing only time to 0h45 or 12h45 in Mission Editor. Day: 12h45 altitude AP works. Night: 0h45 altitude AP does not work. Mi-8MTV2 - IA - Mariana - Mycargo.miz -
Having always generator failures in the oil platform aera. (I've done Oilfield Campaign with numerous Sling mission without such problems). Temp -30 C. Takeoff weigth default is 8600 Kgs on the helipad (37% fuel). (0% fuel gives 7887 Kgs). Sling load pipes 4350 Kgs. Total: 12950 Kgs This to heavy regarding max takeoff weight charts with Anti-Ice (-1000 Kg). Max load should be 13000 Kgs - 1000 Kg (hover 20 meter -30C - anti-ice). Headwing increases 10m/s +1200 kg but for safety should not be fully used, mission wind ground speed is 6m/s. Max load should be 13000 - 1000 - 8600 = 3400 Kg. Is something wrong in above computation ?

From the gound it's easier to show the problem. Pilot view key 1 Trim right and aft like in hover. Control helper shows trimmed position. Physical FFB stick follows. Key 3 Chief Engineer view Control helper shows stick centered and FFB stick follows: it's centered. Pilot view key 1: Control helper shows trimmed position. Physical FFB stick follows. Key 3 Chief Engineer view Control helper shows stick centered and FFB stick follows: it's centered. Pilot view key 1 Reset trim button. Control helper shows trimmed position. Physical FFB stick follows. Another workarround: Key 3 Chief Engineer view Reset trim button in Chief Engineer view Pilot view key 1 Control helper shows stick centered and FFB stick follows: it's centered. mi8trimbug.trk

To have back stick in control helper view in sync with physical position, need to toggle attached AP switch in control panel. It's not related to saturation, or swap axis. It's related to move to chief engineer view and leave. Like in the ""Pedals staying forever-trimmed by AI pilot even when "Pedals Trimmer" special option is OFF" post.

Hum, trim does not work with 3rd in list. Just tried. But Behavior is the same, stable hoover without trimming, use chief engineer view and back to pilot. Stick neutral but still in trimmed position as before moving to chief engineer view (hover position).

VPforce FFB Rhino. FFB set. FFB tune trimmer 100%. X and Y have Y saturation 75%. In option special, set Control Helper and AP adjustment Take off and hover (no trim used). From pilot view to chief engineer view (key 3) Now see the stick moves mid travel from left to rigth and reversed, same aft and forward. Let's twist again... Track attached. huh.trk

VPforce FFB Rhino. FFB set. FFB tune trimmer 100%. X and Y have Y saturation 75%. Control helper window. Trim when in a stable hover. From pilot view to chief engineer view (key 3) Now from chief engineer view to pilot view (key 1) Stick is immediately moved HARD right and back (I think it doubles the trimmed values) by the FFB stick, Reset trim. Stick neutral is now as the trimmed hover, and will never be back to its normal position in the control helper window. Track shows the stick neutral position in the control helper window as in trimmed hover. Track attached. Added to "Pedals staying forever-trimmed by AI pilot even when "Pedals Trimmer" special option is OFF" problem using chief engineer view (key 3) is not usable. mi8trimbug.trk
