You load a static object F-16 nearby in the livery you want and eject on the ramp from another F-16. Then you walk over to the static object F-16 and make sure the F-16 that is smoking behind you isn't in the frame.

In case anyone missed it the mod has been uploaded to user files. I am working on a update to also change the 1st person pilot textures and I'll probably add a couple extra suit colors in addition to tan. I'm thinking black, gray, blue, and red. If you want a specific color let me know and I'll consider it. Not doing camo.

With all the sand maps I'm surprised a desert flight suit isn't an option in mission editor. I'll upload this as a standalone mod and you'll have to add the texture to your F-16's livery folder and update a couple lines in the description.lua with notepad. null

Yes, they are transitioning back to F-16. The have glass skin is their new tail flash. Edit: Screenshots showing paint difference. I may go back and update some of my have glass skins.

ETA is probably the 1st or 2nd week of January. I made have glass and the regular blue/gray. I changed the have glass paint a little bit. What I have been using is closer to a weathered look and this one is closer to a fresh coat. It doesn't get washed out in bright light as bad and is closer to the real color I think. I also updated my tanks and pylons to match the new color and fixed the text on them. I created custom helmets for both jets(only the HMD), custom pilot squadron patches(both the old and new version), and made a custom 300 gallon tank.

2005 Tiger Meet.

79th Tigers Flagship 91-0379 in the 2005 Tiger Meet livery. I quit this one 3 times because there are only 2 photos of the real jet on the whole internet (how?) and they weren't very good. Nice job! I use gimp for all my skins (Foxtrot1 on user files). It is just as capable as photoshop and free. I learned how to use it from youtube. Just be careful because once you learn how to make skins you suddenly want to make a lot. There are some good user created templates for the F-16 and F-18. Check those out.

As others have said in order to get serials with manufacture dates other than the standard ones supplied by ED you have 2 options. 1. Create your own skin and draw the number on the Kil.dds. 2. Use the turk bort argument in the description.lua as Mapi said and modify the F-16_Decal_THK.dds in the THK-191_Filo.zip with whatever date you want.

My local birds are sporting some new feathers and seeing as they are the best of the best I obviously needed to make a livery. First seen at the falcon 50 event it has taken almost a year for enough reference photos to surface online for me to make it. I'm almost done and plan to upload to user files next week maybe Wednesday or Thursday. It has dynamic bort, custom HMD helmet, and custom 300 gal tank.
