  1. After pressing CNI on the CDU and then selecting one of the radios on the CDU with the keys on the left hand side the top left option is presets. Before the last update, when you push 'presets' it would take you to another screen that had a list of preset channels for that radio. You could also enter new presets. Now, since the last update, when I press 'presets' I get a blank screen on the CDU. Any suggestions? Thanks. Jim
  2. [I figured it out. My issue is fixed. I had some odd key bindings in SRS] Are they still working? I can adjust the radio channels in the CDU. They show up correctly in SRS. But every time I transmit it transmits on the radio shown on the top of the SRS overlay. In this case that is channel 30. I am trying to transmit on 251.000. When I select this radio in SRS it looks like I have it selected but as soon as I transmit, it jumps back to 30. The Transmit Select Knob on the Control Audio Panel seems to have no effect on what channel I am transmitting on. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks, Jim [I was able to get it working this morning. I had some odd bindings in SRS that were messing things up. Just checked it out in multiplayer. There was nobody to talk to BUT the issue was fixed.]
  3. Any word on a time frame for this getting fixed?
  4. Thank you! For the record, for me it only works on Caucasus. I have also tried Germany, Syria, and Marianas.
  5. I've been spending way more time messing with this than I should but... 1. It seems like everything works on the Caucasus map. I can have embarking infantry mark with smoke and the smoke is visible. I can also have an overlapping, unrelated trigger zone. 2. On every other map I have tried so far I can have embarking infantry that work like they are supposed to EXCEPT their marking smoke is not visible. 3. On every other map I have tried so far if I add an unrelated trigger zone it seems to somehow block the infantry from doing anything. They no longer move to the embarkation point and they no longer respond at all on the radio.
  6. If it helps narrow down the issue, I have a version of the 'Smoke 1' mission that is set in the Caucasus instead of Syria And the smoke works there. Embark Test 2.miz
  7. Smoke 1.mizSmoke 2.miz Smoke 1 is a really basic mission. When you get close and call for a mark the troop on the ground says he is marking but there is never any visible smoke. Smoke 2 is the same mission but with a separate trigger zone for smoke. This smoke works but now the troop does nothing. Doesn't move to the embarkation zone. Doesn't respond to the radio. Note that this smoke is from the separate trigger zone, not the infantry. Thanks for your help.
  8. My troops on the ground claim they are marking with smoke but there is no visible smoke. Is this a bug or am I missing something? For further explanation as I am approaching them in the helicopter, when I enter their area and can begin communicating with them one of the options is for a "Mark". When I request this, the troop on the ground replies that he is marking his positions. BUT there is no visible indication that they are marking in any way. I then land and embark them as normal. Not sure if it is related to this or not but I thought I had a workaround. I thought I would place a separate trigger zone in the same area. This trigger zone would then trigger smoke when I entered the zone. This works fine except now my troops won't talk to me. Keep in mind this is a completely separate trigger from anything to do with the troops. It just happens to be in the same area. Maybe I am missing something simple? Jim
  9. Here is my simple test mission Caucasus map A-29B on the ramp hot Parking spot 5 at Vaziani As for Squelch, I think I have tried it off and on but can't tell any difference. But just in case I an not enabling it correctly, what are the steps to enable it? The static does sound like faint/broken/distant radio noise/chatter BUT I don't have anything else in the setting that would be talking. Even if it is something else in the map, if squelch doesn't work, is there a volume control for the radio? I fly multiple aircraft. The only other aircraft that I notice this on a regular basis is the Huey. But with the Huey eventually I can tell what I am hear, it isn't near constant, and I can turn it down. Thanks for the help!
  10. And even if it is some sort of normal effect, is there a volume control for the radio besides changing the 'in helmet' volume in the settings?
  11. To add more information, I made a mission that has nothing else in it besides the plane and the world. Still getting near constant static.
  12. Loving the Super Tucano except for one thing. I have nearly constant static in my radio. I can't figure out how to get rid of the static. I am sure I am missing something super simple. Thanks!
