VFXBLENDER started following Will F-104 Have ZEL? , FPV Quadcopter Drone [v0.9.0 beta] , Which RWR will we get? and 3 others
-
I think it will be just a older version of the RWR. The F-104 was made 2 years before the Phantom.

Ah ok. I think I just saw people calling it the "Su-25a" on YouTube, that's why I started calling it that. But still, no new free Su-25 then?
-
The Su-25a you’re talking about?

I just remembered there was an article that came out on January 31st on the official DCS website, where it said that there would be a free Su-25 coming to DCS soon. Here's the link to that article: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2025-01-31/

Where exactly in Europe may I ask? I just want to know what time zone.

I'm from the U.S., and currently live in it. Also, you can just refer to me as VB.

Hello T.A. I absolutely love flying the F-16 in DCS. Though I am not Iranian I would still like to fly with some people, especially fans of the F-16. One thing though, I only have the free Caucasus and Marianas maps, so in case you were thinking of using another map for a multiplayer server I sadly cannot.

Bullets in DCS already have decent collision physics, with the ground and other physical objects. Bullets colliding with each other though, I don't really think it would be necessary. And yeah, there only would be a rare probability of such collisions happening, that's why that feature is not in the game. Also it would cause a larger form of lag, especially on low-end devices.

Hello everyone. For the past 5 months I haven't heard any new announcements about the upcoming free Su-25. If anyone has any information about it please post anything you have here. I think we would all appreciate it greatly.

Still it would be a great addition for immersion, and would be something new and cool for players to experience. And in custom missions they would be able to add their own launchpads if they wanted some; and it would just be awesome to be flying over the land and seeing enemy planes shooting into the sky like rockets and heading towards you. Great for CAP missions, especially if you wanted a bit of an unexpected surprise on a seemingly normal flight. The feature could also be added to the MIG-19, as it also used it in its time.

Is there any way, unless Aerges is already working on the ZELL feature for the F-104, to get this suggestion to them? 'Cause there might still be a chance to implement the feature into the module if we notify them as soon as possible, unless the module's already late in development.
-
It actually would be quite cool for Aerges to offer this option, especially if they want to make flying the plane an immersive and historically accurate experience.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any large map for the United States. Developers have been focusing on Europe and Asia lately, but I would love to see some other places in the world. I think the east coast would be pretty cool 'cause that's where I live. Might be a little bit of my love for New Jersey, but all jokes aside I think it would be a great project.
