Very Big Problem I was THAT IMPRESSED with this MOVIE that I hopped over to The Virtual Blue Angels www and DL the BA(Blue Angel) mod for Lock On Flaming Cliffs. I have version 1.12a installed. PROBLEM --- when i run LOFC and choose the BA quick start mission only half of the skin appears correctly, the rest looks like the original F-15 skin please please help and give me an idea of what to do with this mod. Also is this mod replacing original FC Missions with Aerobatic ones? cheers SumoScouse Out:alien:

Counter Strike is the game that put on-line play into the hands of most gamers. Most people were probably using dial v33 moems back then, and yes some people may cheat, this happens in all walks of life (take Pres'Bush for example) Each to thier own in my opinion - CS rocks always has and always will BTW so does LOCK ON cheers sumoscouse out :alien:

Could somebody help me please - i am looking for a good tutorial on how to create a mission in LOFC 1.12a. I know there will be plenty of stuff around but what i am looking for i have not been able to find so far. I want to create a mission whereby the objective is to fly around from one airbase to another (with plenty of AI Aircraft and vehicles within the vicinity of the airbases that you will visit and take off from) No killing or maiming - just taxing, taking off, flying around a bit of airspace, asking for permission to land (INBOUND). I know this might sound a little weak - but starting out with Mission Editor. I also would like to know how to set weather conditions and can you change weather conditions within a mission i.e. start off with sun then change to cloudy and rain Thanks for any advice given cheers sumoscouse out :alien:

LOBS will encourage you to be more tactical as a virtual pilot. Flying a Helo is not like flying a mud mover or fast jet, its about using the terrain to disguise your presence, wait for the perfect opportunity to wreak death and destruction, then sneak back into the undrgrowth un-detected. sorry to seem so ignorant but why are people raving about this skin when to my untrained eye there doesn'tseem to be a difference from default skin or is this just because i can only run LO with certain graphical settings and so to me it would just look the same anyway i hate my pc - just makes me think i never can truely enjoy the advantages of others when it comes to this game cheers sumoscouse out :huh:

I would like to know coz sometimes I feel that the Interest in the later versions has kinda dwindled - and i am currrently using the latest version - 1.12a It seems that there is a severe lack of modding taking place for the later versions and this is making me think that I should un=install 1.12a and go back to Lock On 1.1 or something Cheers Sumoscouse Out :alien:

ICE - just a personal request. I have got some free time coming along soon and want to get into skinning A/C for LO. Could you suggest a 'STARTER PACK' for my good self that would allow me to create my own skin. if thats how you work out the aspect ration then this means that my aspect ration (17 inch LCD) is 1:25 Screen res is 1280 * 1024, it wont go any higher. I run Lock On FC (1.12a) at same res with Med to High Settings and if I run F-15 Mission (SCRAMBLE) I get about 22 fps sitting on the tarmac Cheers Sumoscouse Out :megalol:

I would like to thank ED for the hard work they are putting into the release of BS and the hard work applied to previous versions of LO. I feel the release of BS will be within the next 2 - 6 months (personal opinion), however when I run IE/click on my favs folder/select the Lock On folder/select the www.lockon.ru link/and select NEWS I am a little disheartned by the lack of UP TO THE MINUTE NEWS about said games' Status. I am confronted by a thumbnail of the KA-50 glued to a very short review (Black Shark short review in PC Pilot magazine Friday, 03 March 2006 г. of BS. Furthermore the treasure at the end of this linlk is a SCREEN-SHOT :cry: Please please please can we have some snippets of Info about BS, regardless of how mundane it might be on a regular basis (weekly perhaps -------- if poss :thumbup: Cheers SumoScouse Out :matrix:

Thanks for the reply Brit Radar Dude. The reason I flagged this was because some time ago I read that Missions created in earlier Versions would not work Correctly in Updated Versions. If this was the case then I felt that people using newer Versions of the Game would be missing out on Excellent Mission Packs, Campaigns and Mods ETC created in earlier Versions. Ironhands Tutorials are a classic example. Great work on his behalf BTW. This is just my 'axe to grind' STS (so to speak). This game should be able to support any mission etc created for any version - is this not the way the gaming industry works? Cheers SumoScouse Out :matrix:

I would just like to say in response to this 'deep thought' that if you look at the amount of postings from both sides you will see that one of two things is happening Either - postings on English speaking forums are increasing on a monthly basis or postings on Russian speaking forums are decreasing on a monthly basis. I say this because the way it stands at the mo' is as follows Russion Forum = 71.500 (roughly) English Forum = 68.000 (roughly) This equates to a difference of around 3.500 posts A few months ago the difference was roughly 6.000 A few months b4 that the difference was about 10.000 So you see men - this demands deep thought What is the answer to this conundrum? did not take a screen shot but this is what i saw when flying the F-15 scramble mission (SP) Flying through the valleys, low to ground, look left outta my canopy and clouds that must be a couple of miles away overlapping the valley that is about a quarter mile away --- any ideas --- thanks Never seen this before when I have been playing Cheers SumoScouse Out :cool:

Would it not be plausible to ask ED what type of configuration set-up they are using to fly the KA-50. This would help me decide on whether or not to spend money on up-grading my set-up. If we are talking extra dosh to fly this chopper well, then I might have second thoughts about buying LO-BS TIR 3 / 4 seems a must as well - MORE MONEY arghhhh Cheers SumoScouse Out :cool:
