"Okopanja" shared interview with former Yugoslav pilot covering this topic. In order to fit ecm pod safely, mig-29 9.12A had to go under upgrade in term of chamber for releasing used cannon shells. If I understood correctly ECM would get in way of ejected shells. Textures look good even on phone camera. You can see screenshots od Eagle Dynamics web site. Textures are not problem for ED, and they look very good. I am more afraid about possible bugs, missing or not realistic features upon early access launch. Possible prolonging of delivery date... But we will see everything once released.

Haha that is true. Mig-29 FC3 version was my first love. And flying it since. But now I am more into full fidelity modules like F-16C and MiG-21Bis. Still something drawns me back to mig-29 as my favourite plane for some strange reason.

True. But I wanted to point out that summer can be 4 months later compared to pre-order release. We'll see. In my opinion this is one the best modules and one of most important ones in years. I am sure ED is doing their best.

You are most absolutely right. Except one thing. It is not OK to release pre-order now and release early access 4 months later(summer lasts to 22nd of September). Btw, I actually preordered first day of release, because I want ED to succeed in this and I thought it was the best way I can do to support. But I really hate waiting past July.

I always choose quality over fast delivery dates. But when something is mentioned as Q2 and released on pre-order, dates and promises should be honored. Otherwise if ED mentioned Q3 and play it safe it would be fine, because we expect it then. Anything longer than one month after pre-order is a big no no.

9.13 entered service in 1986. Only question would be when did ER and ET enter serial production. That info is hard to find.

There was a talk on forum that 9.12 variants received some update which people connect to E variants of R-27 missiles being able to be used on 9.12 variant. I am not sure who is right and on the internet I managed to find both statements. Maybe it was possible, but I found out that Yugoslavia, for example, only had R-27R1. According to military manual from Yugoslav Air Force, year 1990.

Hello ED team, I have a question or better said reminder. I did not see wings flexing due to G force in pre order video. Will this be added upon release ? And if someone have information if A variant of MiG-29 had exterior ECM pods or something like that ?
