  1. And the same counter argument is also true. There is an declassified document published in moscow 2011 that mentions the syncing between the radar and SPO. (Also ascessable on a online classroom website) So yes, It is as simple as mentioned above. Edit: And compered to your intersting claiming logic. The difference between throwing words around, that the mentioned SME can prove that they were actual pilots of the well mentioned platform.
  2. Alright, so we have a out of sync, unserviced MiG-29 lacking parts for the SPO-15 post WP. Even when multiple real pilots that are confirmed real pilots talking that yes it would still work if the radar is on, and documents are proving it. Meanwhile there is also the magic RWR for all F-16 and such. Man I had my hopes up for this release, but now its pointless.
  3. They can remove this if the Laszlo/Lazur is finally in, so you actually get usable information.
  4. What is interesting, I have been seeing a lot of talk, and also snippets of a bigger tech manual showcasing the timing that is specificly between the radar and the SPO-15 so they will be in sync. Especially to avoid interference of the radar and the SPO-15, and I have not been seeing any information so far that the radar completly cuts off the frontal lobe of the RWR. Only interference that could happen what is a maintenence issue, hence why the sync is needed. Not a RWR design flaw, such as like this currently. When installed into aircraft, SPO-15 is connected to the radar with a sync blanking line which makes SPO ignore own radar when antennas catch radars sidelobes or structural elements pass the signal. What makes complete sense in the matter. This cut off implementation makes the SPO-10 look superior since even that has sync lines.
  5. I agree that something on the radar is not okay. Been flying a lot of BVR against Mirage 2000s just today, and the lock is lost every single time with zero effort. (I have track files I will upload them later to this post) Tried also switching radar modes when the target goes to a lower aspect, but when switching is tried loses the lock the moment you try to switch, feels like no memory mode is implemented at all making it impossible to switch to the proper radar mode in combat. The vertical mode absulutly does nothing as well, like the above mentioned main post.
