Im setting up a new joystick and this is one of the main things i was hoping to change - Sometimes its smooth as can be other times it jumps and stutters Any ideas? Using an X56 Rhino

The +'s are getting them this year afaik. Part of the link16 upgrade set for 2018-2019 And the current +'s ran apkws as of 16. Also thanks! Good read

Running through the navair for the harrier again it looks like a few things that would improve the harriers use-case are being deployed on the harrier, specifically the JSOW and the APKWS II. Even flicking the JPT Limit switch doesn't allow full power, even going as far as turning off the DECS and setting manual fuel control doesnt. Ill try to get a track later today!

First one is all about weight which in this case Is not at all the issue "And before someone chimes in and says "weight" empty stores 3800 - 2000 LBS fuel" the second has some good information, but it seems like the DECS is not doing its job properly or the engine seems to be accumulating damage in normal use (under 101% / 103 for less than 10 min) The main issue though is that it didn't seem to do this before.

When attempting landing ive lost significant power after even short sorties and sometimes even suddenly on landing with no OT time (starting engine overtemp time is 59 seconds, fresh spawn) looking at the engine panel the power is being capped at as low as 97% even wet. always short of being able to take back off / maintain hover Am I ingesting gas or abusing the engine somehow? Ideas? And before someone chimes in and says "weight" empty stores 3800 - 2000 LBS fuel

It was either the M or P. It was something i glazed over a bit ago and cant find. The aim9x itsself has a redundancy mode that afaik allows it to be fielded in aircraft that cant take full advantage of it.

Right, i cant find the article but can anyone verify that the av8B CAN use the AIM9X (internally recognised as a P buf able to track better / attack soft and hot ground targets but forgoing the high off boresight attack capability)

Question for dev's or anyone in the know - as far as loadouts will it only be real-world _certified_ or will it extend to the 2007 GR9 update that had been planned (12 brimstones on a harrier would be nice)

I know plenty about the phantom, Father was one of the people responsible for the development of the aircraft. (specifically the team that was tasked with replacing the APQ72 with the AN\APQ72) Alllllways talked about it, talking about how during training up at elmandorf AFB pilots were complaining about the shoulder harnesses being too thin, Causing people to break collar bones when they dropped flaps spoilers and idled throttle. Really if there is something its really good at its slowing down. Still hate it. That said I hate the mig21 as well, They are 'darts' While the F4 is the better dart its still just a dart. I want a good multi-role that can perform well in many aspects of combat across many different forms of fighting. Not just dart vs dart Or, really, Pointy brick with a big engine in back vs dart running low on vodka (alcohol) reserves.

Same boat with the F4, Its an awful aircraft. If youre going to do awful at least do sexy.
