How about better communication from Matt and the Ed team. They are busy advertising the Syria map. Have they told us about any concrete time frame when the F-16 will get updates ? We are talking about a module which is almost ONE YEAR since release. You may be happy with having knee board font fixed but the majority of us are pissed off at EDs interest in the F-16

And you are even happier not to get any updates or communication I’d suggest leave this thread since you don’t bother addressing even a single point. Corrected drag index for AIM-120 on wing pylons. Corrupted Kneeboard fonts - fixed. After a month of waiting we get a grand total of 7 mostly useless fixes like label not displayed. Needless to say , we have reached a point where patient customers of this overpriced module have to ask , is this module now confirmed to be abandoned ? No communication from the developers , maverick was due in April. We are approaching August and there is dead silence from Matt and the rest of the ED team regarding the state of the F16 module I have never ever complained about any other module like I have for the viper. The F18 saw frequent updates every month. The viper hasn’t got any meaningful updates for half a year. It would be nice if ED or Matt could throw some light about the future of this module because right now it’s very disappointing about not the just the state of the module but the total lack of communication.

You keep saying the same thing over and over again every month. The problem is there is zero development for the F-16 , no updates from Matt nothing.

F16 development progress As a full paying customer of this over priced module , I am very disappointed about the progress of this module. It’s now almost a year since it was released and we don’t even have 50% of the features , bugs galore and zero information about the roadmap ahead for the F-16. It’s about time someone from ED gave us some info about what progress we can expect for the F16. The only recent update we got was a joke - the ability to create waypoints from scratch which should have been done from day 1

Are you even playing the same game ? The F16 radar constantly loses lock even on targets in flat terrain. I have no issues with the hornet radar

Since you are lying so hard about the state of the F-16 it’s obvious you don’t even use it. Also how much did ED pay you to write such bs praising them ? Have you tried using the targeting pod ? Have you tried using the HUD ? I guess no because your busy as your 4702 posts have been about praising ED like a dictator enjoys.

What is hilarious is the attitude of people like you who defend ED when they screwed up. For your info I’ve played ED sims from flanker 1.5 20 years ago and I’ve never once complained till now. I never had issues with the hornet at early access for example This is not a beta test , I’m paying for early access which means I expect some kind of features To be present and not bugs galore Have you even tried the targeting pod , read the HUD or use the radar after the latest patch ? Compare this module to any other module and tell me whether it was at a worse state SIX MONTHS later . I had the hornet from day one and never felt short changed since every 2 weeks we got meaningful updates and features. For the viper we can look forward to reading the HUD again You are acting like this module was just released.

Bugs in a new Open Beta Release After the latest patch I’m pissed. The F-16 is completely useless. Yes I’m aware of early access but 6 months down the road neither the hornet or any other module was at such an unplayable state You know it’s so bad both in bugs and features wise when the only update Mr Matt Wagner gives us f16 users is a video on how To add steerpoints. Right now nothing on the F-16 works and The latest patch screwing up the f-16 with a million bugs is an INSULT to loyal customers. The module was released last year in September and I hope ED is aware that it’s now June 2020 and NOTHING has been done for the viper. Based on this experience I will never order a module from ED on day one.

Hello. I have been flying the pre release and am absolutely in love with it. While I certainly understand that this is by no means a product near full release with features getting added gradually, I would appreciate whether we can please get an approximate timeline as to when we can expect three things mainly the HARM missile , AMRAAM and Mavericks. Just these three weapons would go a long way in making the hornet more useful in multiplayer. Right now with guided bombs and sparrows combined with the lack of IFF, its an uphill battle. At least the HARM would open up SEAD missions which right now are suicidal against any Sam site using ccip unguided munitions.

Dont worry guys like Pilatasso , Tharos etc will go on and on how RU equipment sucks and how the USAF is the best and the greatest.If a report about how a upgraded Russian plane might have beat an old US plane (SU30 vs F15) , we get reports they are all lies for F22 programme.Wow great guys.You should go to www.f-16.net and give all your stories how a single F16 can kill 100 SU30MKI's .Now can we actually discuss this report without resorting to bashing of anything Russian or saying it was only for support for US fighter programmes?

LMAO that would be the worst war scenario ever specially if you want to fly the PAF F16's.Picture this : Your in a F16A (early block which is only one which the Pakistanis have) without any BVR and old rusting AIM9's against highly upgraded Indian MiG29K's armed with R77's , R27's , R73's plus SU30's , Mirage 2000-5's with AWACS backing them up.No balance there buddy and no fun.Certainly I would never fly an F16 there :P I do support the idea of an India - Pakistan map however since it has never been done before and nice change from the same old mid-east , Crimea or the what if cold - war scenarios.Wars involving lesser known airforces and countries (India , Israel etc) would really be awesome.

Hmm suprising nobody ever thought of India/Pakistan.India has the MiG29SMT and soon the MiG29K.Pakistan has the F16A and soon the Blk52.I think this theatre would be by far the best.Both countries are also "near east" ;) I would think either Mid east (Syria/Israel) or South Asia (India/Pakistan) would be better.

Hello all , I have heard that the devs are looking to model the F16 , MiG29K for the next addon.Now are there any plans to expand the theatre of operations other than Crimea.Although Crimea is interesting I guess most of us are pretty used to it from the days of the original Flanker and we urgently require new maps. Now wouldnt a pretty good scenario be India vs Pakistan specially since the MiG29K going to modelled will only be in service with the Indian navy and the F16 blk 52+ is bought by Pakistan it would be a very logical choice given the planeset.Also the Mig29 already modelled along with the Flanker would fit in this theatre. It would be a nice change from the usual USAF vs RuAF encounters seen in most modern sims. A mid-east map would also be good.Any comments from the devs? Thanks for your time and also for giving us the best modern jet sim ever.
