On ED giving out serials. It was not ED that was doing this, I had used all mine at first, when I was upgrading my mobo, video card and sound card, plus other stuff. I contacted the people at starforce and told them my problem, and bingo I was given more installs. I know this might sound a little far fetched. but that is what I did and so far so good, on the key saver whatever, never worked for me either. Hope this might help but if it dont dont know what to say!!! Cinch

Hmm beg to differ!! Outlaw, My brother is with the Sea Bee unit that was there right after it was all said and done, there are only 3 major way to get in to New Orleans #1 Over the lake, #2 from the east thru Biloxi and from the west, all 3 way were covered with debri and could not be passed, you ask how I know, myself and 2 friends are AP photographers and saw it first hand right after the storm, Sea Bee Units were there moving debri from the road way so they could get it, Now when it came down to getting in to Downtown New Orleans, there were only 2 ways, swim or boat. Dewartering had to take place in specific areas for it to be safe for people to travel, Help was there just not in the reach of the storm. Our Atlanta Redcross and FEMA offices were already "boxed" up and ready to go. and were down there I would say within 10 hours after the storm, Supplies just dont carry themself to their dest. They have to be drivin and all that was going on throughout the nation, C-130's from Dobbins AFB here in atlanta, Tinker AFB was a second that was helping plus several more were moving, as for the Navy Ship , Ship dont start like cars #1 and dont move like a race car #2, They have to have everyone on the ship before it moves, if they have half a crew the only half the job is done, And you say that the goverment knew about the storm, yes they did. But the People that live there also knew about the storm as well and did nothing but stay there knowing that the part of the city they live in is below sea level. and the leves can only hold up to and I say again UP TO a class 3 storm. so you tell me. who was not prepaired for this storm? Dont get me wrong but My heart goes out to everyone that is caught up in the mess, be them Black, White, Mexcan, Chineese, so on so fourth, and bless their hearts, but there is no reason for people to blame the goverment when they have no clue to what is going on!!! Never, they have been hit by Class 2 & 3 but never a 4 till now, they have had Class 4 close but not as close as this one.

The US Goverment Is doing all it can. Do everyone concerned with the New Orleans Desaster, First off the US goverment is doing everything they can to help the people of New Orleans, I used to live down there and I know and Understand, #1 The way the citizens fell about them not gettting help fast enough. #2 The Mayor of New Orleans and his fight for try his best to get the recovery started fast. But now when it comes down to the question "Why didnt the US goverment get their faster?" They were there right after the storm, US Navy Sea Bees were clearing roads and trying to recover the roads so help could get to them, Flooding was still going on at this time in New Orleans. The only way the city can be accessed it by foot or by Helo. 85 Percent of the locals live of the public transportation there in the area flooded, they have only 2 options to get places walking or takin taixs, buses, trollys. They could not get out of New Orleans for several reasons, Lower income, and no where to go, The people that live in the flooded area have been there for years and years, and then their children stay there for years and years. The houses there have been there for over 50 60+ years, and a good amount of them have been there over 80 years, The city is a great city I loved every min of it, but they way some of the citizens are acting with the looting and everything, looting of food and water so fourth, to stay living is ok, but when people loot clothes, TV's, Car jackings and murder is not right. The people that are causing this are locals from surrounding areas with in 20,30 miles came down to cause havac just because they still have their home and cars and everything. So when you here that the recovery is slow, dam right its slow what are we to do clap our hands and everything go back to normal? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Are we to risk the saftey of people to the extend that saftey personal are killed in the process? NO NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Are we to let people say the our federal goverment is acting slow to this just because of Color, and income level. NO IT'S NOT A RACE THING. I welcome anyone that has not been to New Orleans to visit when the city get back to geather in 10 to 20 years down the road, Visit the French Quatr, Visit Jax Brewery, Visit all the fun things to do, but also drive thru the places that are in the flood zone now and the Jefferson Projects and so fourth and just see how you are treated as a visitor in the areas away from the police eye, you'll be suprised, and I will if you walk out with everything you have. If you stay where the vistors to the great city of New Orleans your ok but if you get in a bad area your going to have problems, Now I didnt say this to cause a flaming post or start a deal about the goverment, I give these as facts that the people of New Orleans, esp the ones that are now causing all this with the fires and shootings, these are the same people the are causing the BS of its a race thing, and the general public here this and say the same thing, Yes it does have something to do with money, people with cars and everything are out of there and gone, but the ones that choose not to work and panhandle the vistors and do the dealings they do in their day to day life, are the one that are fighting the national guard, shooting people and stuff, it is All for on out there no one is looking out for one another, God Bless them all but the BS that is going on the media and the BS about its a RACE thing is BS and thats my point. Just my feeling about this!!!!! Why is it that ED is not, posting to any of our post about the stuttering? Do they know about it and just want to ignore the problem? Or the know about it and are trying to fix it? All of the pilots in the Vert Thunderbirds have been spending night and day to try to get it where we can fly like we did in 1.02 but with the stuttering we cant. It's not a Hardware thing, so whats is going on.... I love lock on esp before 1.1 but I thought 1.1 was going to be the best with all the talk about it thru the web site here and abroad. But all I see is that I wasted $35.00 on something that is not flyable. I have an Alienware system, Very Very High End system... One of the best for the money. So If 1.02 was so rock solid why is 1.1 like it is. Why the change to all LUA files? What was changed that would cause a Host not to see the stutter but the client to see it? Was 1.1 tested with starforce before release? Was 1.1 tested in close formation like the VFTC & the Virt ThunderBirds Fly? Or was it just tested for Combat. If you by chance just for combat, then that was not a good choice.... lots of people use lockon for formation flying, Just alone on one week we had 10,000 hits to our web site and about 20 people going out to buy Lock On just because they have seen videos like ours. So It looks like that the Vert Thunderbirds are doing Ed a favor and making more sales for ED on 1.1, but here we sit with just a hope and a prayer that someone will atleast answer our posts, instead of asking someone to fix their sig on the fourms!! All we ask is some info in this subject, hell everyone else is getting answers to their questions, but us! Dont think that is good for both ED nor for the people that are waiting for the purchase of 1.1, Many people waiting for 1.1 to go on sale again said they were not going to get it till the see some type of a fix for the stutter! Do you blame them? I dont, I kick my self for running out and Downloading it on first release, I schould have waited a little longer! But Ed got my money, With no answers to our posts, I believe that ED is just saying we got your money and leave us alone!! But enough said! All we ask is for some answers and a fix thats it! Stutter Problem All of us with the T-Birds are having this problem, and if more people did formation flying like we do they would notice the stutter, hell they schould see it even flying below 1000'. we have tried everything to resolve this problem, we tested it with no mods, defalt skins, and all connections that we could think of, you name it we did it and are still doing it to make this work. But since 1.1 has come out nothing but problems. I didnt pay $35.00 for a sim that was rock solid in 1.02 and then take a big crap on my hard drive by a simple stutter, I sure if ED can develop all what they did with 1.1 they can look at this problem and give us all a fix, instead of working on other flight models and other stuff I have seen in development. And on the subject of you dont see alot of posts on the stutter, well go on hypper lobby and chat with a few of the pilots in there and you'll see how many are having the problem. With the release of 1.1 our team has made a slow transition to 1.1 but we can only go as far as the sim will let us. And with the stutter problem we cant make any progress towards the positive. So if anyone from ED see this post could you please make this a #1 Priority for the few formation flying teams within the lock on pilots. I know the VFTC uses lan but there are a few more that use the good old internet. So please look into the cause of this problem and give us a bug free Sim!! Mike "Cinch" Perry

Stuttering 1.1 problems What is going on at ED?? This thread is being posted with everyone who purchased the 1.1 FC in mind! Several of us with the Vitural ThunderBirds have been testing, testing, testing, oh and I'll say it again testing. With nothing giving any clue what the stuttering is caused from. but here is my idea of what is going on!! First off, how can ED go from a rock solid netcode with no stuttering, what so ever. To a code that is buggy to the point there is 20 pages in the bug thread, & dont give me that AMD Chips, MOBOS, are causing this problem, I have tested this with both my systems (Below are the specs of both PC's) ASUS K8V-SE Deluxe MOBO intel p4 3.2 ADM 64 3400 250 ata 2 200 gig sata drives 2 gig ddr2 1.5 gig ddr4 Nivida geforce 6800gt Nvida 6800 AGP With both systems 1.1 has the stuttering problem, we spent all of tonight trying different settings both graphic, and connection wise. And here is a list of the things we tested. Airport Tested Razol'noe TESTED WITH Problem Connection speeds to connect in multiplayer (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) All Aircraft were tested (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) Graphics to low at 20km pre load (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) Graphics to low at 50km pre load (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) Graphics to low at 100km pre load (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) and repeat Graphics thru High (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) Tested with smoke Gens on and Off (stutter/ Aircraft & surface) We tested for about 5 hours on this with no clue what is the problem!!! I think it has to do with Netcode, again I say how can 1.02 be so solid and 1.1 with the so called improved netcode. be so crappy. Both single player and multiplayer have the problem. Just alone of our web site we have recieved of 10,000 hits and several hundred users register on our fourms on the past week telling us they are going to buy Lock on as soon as they can, as well as spending the money for 1.1. Just because they have seen the videos that we have produced of us flying in close formation. And I'am sure the the VFTC has recieved several like comments to their formation flying in Lock On. Hmm looks like 2 Formation flying teams are basically giving free advertisement for ED, but will ED look it to this problem and make 1.1 stutter free? It would be nice! So with all that said, I'am not trying to be rude about this but I would like to see developers release a product that is fully tested it the way the sim was and still is being used, (ie, formation flying, as well as combat flying, online and offline) Because if I was a person who was looking to buy this product right now and saw all the posts in the bug thread. I would'nt waste mt time nor money! And the starforce deal, why is it now such a big deal that the included it in 1.1 Why did ED included it in the box retail. did they really loose money on the retail version, I would saw no not from no copy portection, but the retail game had more bugs that a barn infested with roaches!!
