Hi, I would like to try out new campaigns and missions. Any of you that has some good links?

I believe a similar feature is modelled in LockOn FLaming Cliffs to if i remember it correctly in the SU-25t plane. In LockOn the laser has to be turned off after about a minute due to overheat and needs cooldown.

Same here with my old X-45. Even if i expand the deadzones. Sure hope the X-52 is better :)

I'm exchanging my X-45 with the X-52 pro and the flight pro pedals. Got those coming in next week to :D

Hi, i just got my hands on the Sidewinder X6 keyboard with the moveable and programmable numpad. I was wondering if someone else here has it and have tried programming the ABBRIS autopilot system to the numpad and wants to share the profile or some tips. I'm still a noob when it comes to ABBRIS and i, of course, want the best and mose useable profile. Or even program the Dlink system to it... any tips out there for what's most useful of those two? I already got a pretty good setup on my X-45 with some autopilot functions but i think it would be easier using the numpad on the X6 keyboard:) Great keyboard btw :) http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/productdetails.aspx?pid=102

Well, Janes did the excellent Apache longbow games over a decade ago...they were complex and excellent simulations. I'm confident that ED could make an excellent Apache simulation. There are always some military secrets that never makes it in games but that doesn't mean the game will be bad. That happend to Janes F/A-18... a few things in the cockpit had to be removed as requested by the Military. And still it's one of the best combat flight sims i've ever played :) I still have my Janes Collection :D

Hi, been looking all over the manual but i just can't get a grip on it. in some of the missions the Ekran shows the message "Nav pos fix". Can anyone explain the proceedure? thanks.

I have the same problem. BS never crashed untill i installed the MS Sidewinder X5 mouse a few days ago. Same error: dinput8.dll. Gonna uninstall the mouse and reinstall my Razer Habu. I also installed the Sidewinder X6 keyboard, hopefully this one is not a problem.

I have no problems getting a lock on targets at night. Tuff missions but it just makes me feel even more victorius :)

Same here. In that mission my system goes down on it's knees and start crawling.

Sorry, but after all these years i've seen enough bashing on people asking for help. Even if we can find our ways to solutions doesn't mean everyone else does it. People don't ask for help just for the fun you know :) Again, sorry if i was mistaken.

I'd rather read 10 crossposts than having a "forumpolice" like you in here! The manuals is a mass to read and small notes are often hard to find when they are not indexed. Either help or just keep quiet.

I actually tried using a X52 pro file but when i select the X45 in the drop-down list page goes blank. So i figured it didn't work.

Happens to me to. Even with deadzone configured.

Making the story short the SU-33 slide off the deck after the cable broke during touch down. The pilot (Yuri Korneev) ejected and landed safely in the water while the plane sank to 1100 meters depth making a recovery attempt more or less impossible or to expencive. The Russians has stated that they are planning to blow the plane up due to the highly sensitive equipment abord. The plane was unarmed. Norwegian Navy has stated they will not interfere in any way unless the Russian Navy calls for assistanse. Article also say the Admiral is rarely seen to see due to Russian defenses poor funds. Hope this is satisfying :)

That is my opinion. You are free to look another way if you don't like it instead of replying with a monkey's answer. Oh well, every forum has one.

If they are going to use the Starforce activation crap i'm definatly not buying it.

5 minutes is WAY to long. This is the year 2005 and they make faster and faster hardware and software. Starforce should really get their act together and FIX all the problems with it. I bought the download and i upgraded my system a short while ago. Due to much trouble and so on im out of activations (5 and NOT 15 like some says) because the save reg utility didn't work. Claimed my HW had changed each time. I emailed ED asking for more activations and the answer i got was that i have to wait 2 weeks for sales department to contact me. nice!! I will probably NOT buy any future addons if ED continues using Starforce.

So...as you can see, it is definatly a BIG deal...maybe not for you but for many of us a big consern and it will make me think twice before i buy another addon. I paid for the addon and i should definatly be able to activate more than 5 times without having to ask ED if i can use it again after the 5 first ones. As above poster says...WHAT if ED goes bye bye.

I just upgraded my computer with a new motherboard, cpu and a display card. I installed the saved reg file wich i saved earlier...didn't help and now im down to 3 activations left. And i update my system quite often. ED should really do something about this because it really isn't fair for us download owners. This might prevent me of buying another addon later on.

No problems in IL2 FB/PF or Lock-on here. AOpen Aeolus 6800GT 256mb.
