For the times when you dont fly with your wingman, what is the best way of calculating the fuel needed for a sortie?

Unfortunately,it is not Windows 7 x64 friendly. Im wondering if AutoHotkey might offer an alternative solution. I dont know if if anybody has tried mapping a rotary axis with AH.

Recently started doing this today, each time I start a new mission the activation window pops up, I go ahead and 'activate' and the mission loads . Start a new mission and the Activation window pops up again. Starting to annoy me now.

Hi All My current HOTAS is in for repairs and I am using an old,old Saitek X36f HOTAS. The problem is that the Saitek SST programming software is not compatible with this older stick and throttle, fair enough, it maps just fine within DS A10c. However, I am looking for a way for me to assign my Rotaries on the Throttle to something else other than the generic "Axis Assignments" in the games controller options. Is there a way to add in additional commands for a controllers Axis? It's a long shot I know. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, its getting to be a PITA on a long haul mission, everybody else seems to be having no problems with their own flight taking fuel and having them copy their own Nav light selectioin, but my AI guys have their Formation Lights and Anti Collision lights on 24/7 and refuse point blank to re-fuel en-route after I do it. mmmm, Whats the Un-install, Re-Install procedure, files to keep/backup etc. I'm getting depressed just typing about it. lol.

Same with me from the recent 7204 update.

I can try and answer question 2 on your list, A 4 ship flight is made up of 2 'elements'. You and your Wingman are the 1st Element Flight 3 and 4 make up the 'Second Element. You can only issue orders to your Wingman and Second Element Leader (flight 3) , the 4th flight will obey from there.

Still having major problems with getting my flight to refuel from the Tanker. Tried the above advice, no joy. Issue the "Get to the Tanker" command, answer..."Unable"? My other AI related problem from an earlier thread is that they (Flight) will not turn their Nav lights off even though I have all mine to the off postion. Still unresolved for a fix. Im starting to think along the dreaded path of doing the "Dance...." Unless of course somebody knows whats going on here and can put me back on the path of enlightenment? 1.2.2.7204 version, DCS World

Hi again, On a rather long mission my 4 ship had to refuel from the tanker to get back to Homeplate. No problem for me,but the rest of the flight just stayed in formation off the tanker and did not attempt to refuel at all. What gives?

My, a quick question turning into a multi-page topic. I can refuel quite competently at the moment, but every now and the the Steerpoint/Waypoint cue is smack bang over my TVV which is sending me insane, visually, I don't really look at the HuD info, but use the data in my peripheral vision when I'm focused on the tanker and the top of my canopy. It provides me with a reference point. So I am really asking if I can turn off the Steerpoint/Waypoint bug in the HUD?

Hi All, Have not got time to try what the new ' Mini HUD' option which the latest patch introduced, as far as I was aware. Anybody tried it, and what does it do, I'm sure the clues in the name.... Away from PC at the moment.

Nate, I have tried that but they still keep theirs on? I use the HOTAS Pinky Centre command to turn them off, is this the correct way, or am i doing something wrong?

mmmm, so whats happened to my missing 'Fence in', 'Fence Out' commands when i'm the leader of a 4 ship? <ponders quietly...> :(

For the life of me I cannot find the "Fence In / Out" commands as described in the manual. Does Easy Communications take out some of the comm options?
