  1. My attempt to gently push the tailplane down on a Yak-40 approaching VRotate while flying the Huey (a la opening scene of Face/Off with the AS350 and Lockheed JetStar II) resulted in a wrecked Yak-40 that stopped instantly on the runway and minor instrumentation damage to the Huey.
  2. You can bind the trim key to your joystick, it's under Helicopter controls in the drop down list. I'm also having no problems flying it with my HOTAS setup. The flight dynamics, however, I won't defend, and while I'm no helicopter pilot, dissymmetry of lift in particular feels oddly exaggerated...I have a much easier time flying the Black Shark with the autopilot off, actually.
  3. In Jane's USAF, you could employ the GBU-15 and the AGM-130, the latter of which was real fun to fly with the joystick into a SCUD launcher some 20km away.
  4. Come on, an entire thread on big jets, and the An-225 only gets one mention so far? In all seriousness, I'd put my vote in for the An-124/225 (I think the flight manual is out there for the 124 at least) and C-5B, but the map isn't really suited for strategic airlifters. Now, on the other hand, if we had a Bering Strait map, with parts of Alaska and Kamchatka. :music_whistling:
  5. Probably a bit out there given RAZBAM's record of USN aviation, but once the A-6, AV-8B, etc. have been made for DCS...well...as I understand it, you guys have a Yak-38 mesh? There are plenty of VVS enthusiasts here who I'm sure would jump at the chance to fly a Forger. I personally would love to fly operations of Kiev and Minsk.
  6. May I inquire as to where you obtained the Mini Keyboard from? That is the most ingenious UFC solution I've seen yet!
  7. Interior of an E-4B.
  8. If nothing else, it may be worth a buy for the FSX native models of some very obscure aircraft (even if they are intended for use as traffic).
  9. Привет. :smilewink: I toured the interior of Buran OK-GLI a long time ago when it "visited" Sydney. The cockpit was akin to that of an Il-86 more than anything else, only with joysticks and a pair of K-36s. I'm impressed by that first picture, it's hard to find any sort of official acknowledgement of the Polyus satellite today.
