  1. The only option left is to half res to 2048 stock size...but you give up the crispness...Depends on where you are: in a fast mover or on the ground.
  2. 1. Mountain textures as in the snow tops? 2. Yes they are X' s...some have a top down plane. The top down tree texture simply looked bad any way so I simply refused to use the slots...On my new trees (WIP not released) this allowed me to create a greater variety of trees with these spots while keeping to one texture file. So instead of having 8 trees with symmetrical uglyness I could make 8 trees with no symmetrical uglyness. I am adopting the 4096 x 4096 res for clarity, but this may trade a few FPS..
  3. The entire set?...at the moment I am doing the best bang for the buck textures. I may take a stab at a greater portion of the textures that make up the terrain..
  4. There will be all seasons...I always start with summer and make the rest...lol.
  5. HiRES Trees no grass! Alternate winter trees..snowy and plain. See first post for installation.
  6. New updated textures coming. They are Hi res with no grass.. They are 4096 x 4096.

  8. I would really like to redo the tree assets in game around the cities and towns but I am limited with the file format access.
  9. Is there any way to open the city and town .blk files?
  10. These tree texture are the same size as default. No frame hit at all from stock textures. The newer tree models I am working on can be blended like the new smoke (they look awesome) but there is a frame hit as there is with the new smoke and explosions. This kind of texture blending seems to tax the hardware some what.
  11. The textures are 2048 x 2048...I have hi rs versions as well 4096 x 4096. As I edit and tweak the hi res ones will hopefully be on new models.
  12. The camo tent was pretty much done and I gave it to diveplane to figure out how to get it in game easily... I have PM'd him but I have been away for a bit and so is he I think. I was working on a airfield generator run light as well...
  13. Location is C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\TempTextures The season tree file you place here will override all other season trees. Example: If you place the fall tree texture in the above location, winter, summer and spring will all have the fall texture. This is a poky way to do it but easy to install and uninstall.

  16. Ok, it has been some time for this project. I asked for the the forest models and a tool to access the town and city block trees but ED did not respond ( Matt asked on my behalf, so thank you Matt for doing this for me). I have however modified my tree textures to apply to the old tree models with all the old issues of symmetry, stretching and LOS issues. If ED gives me the models and access to the city blocks I will continue..In the mean time I will post the tree textures with all seasons. Question to the knowledgeable? what would be the cleanest way of installing the season textures without messing some ones install? Screenshots coming up...
  17. Just a quick update: I asked Matt to send off a friendly request to the ED team to provide me with the original forest models so I could scale size my new forests properly... I am awaiting a response. The forests are different size triangle shapes that fit together to make a forest over shaped terrain. On hold for now.
