Make sure when you load the pr0 file, the little icon turns GREEN in the system tray, then load the sim. In your MFD on your throttle it should say that JackBauer A-10 profile is loaded.

Last night I went and reloaded the LUA and PRO files and now everything magically works!! I must have goofed something up inadvertently. Thanks for your help Jack, sorry it led to a goose chase. Thanks so much for sharing this profile, very intuitive, and if I can learn it, anyone can :pilotfly:

Im having the same problem with the pinky switch, I do see Joy_button6 listed as a modifier,im using a regular x-52 myself. The older profile worked fine, so not sure what happened. :/

F-18 would be my pick. F-16 has kind of been done to death. Maybe the 15. I was kind of hoping for the apache, using track ir to slew the cannon and everything else would be....Awesome.

Weird question. Do you think moving the rudders back and forth and the slight movement it causes in the aircraft with NWS on causes the alignment to fail? I've done every step correctly, and sometimes EAC still fails to arm because ground alignment gets "stuck".

sounds like your axis controls are goofed up. I had my rudder pedals totally screw up my airplane. I flew a week like this until I figured out what the problem was, I set the brakes to the X axis. So when I rested my foot on the pedals, I had to fight the controls to maintain sort of level flight. After I fixed it, A10 is a smooth bird. :)

If you have the throttle a little above idle and attempt to start the engines, I've had issues where they won't fire up. I walk the throttles back all the way down(to idle), and then fire em up. I'm pretty noobish to ramp starts though, I've only done about a dozen of them. (half the time I screw up EAC aligning, only to notice it midflight).

I'm kinda looking for DCS-Apache :)
