Does anyone have any photos of the parking break put together? Even the ones in this thread I'm struggling to see how it all works.
-
I have the stock super libra (no z-axis/extension) and no matter what the shaft will freely rotate. I'm unable to figure howto "secure" it to prevent damage. For reference, I'm not talking about the stick itself and the collar (with the set screw).

Might be a silly question, but has anyone made a list of required switches/toggles/etc? almost done printing, but i cant find the list.

For those in Canada, what did you pay in duty/taxes/fees?
-
Do you have basic tools? Here's what I made for about $10 worth of wood and paint. Wooden rails were made using 1" and 2" wide plywood screwed to the under side of the desk. Rest was made to fit around the stick itself. Slides in and out when not in use.

Would you be willing to share those plans? :)

Which version do I need to purchase to be able to print this?

If you make a new PCB that allows the 4-way switch on the thumb (as per the Hornet stick) and the recce button (again, as per the hornet) I'd gladly buy a second one :) Thanks for the top-notch work! -

Debolestis, using your PCB can I replace the switches with "real" ones. ie. remove the push buttons? I assume it's as simple as desoldering and hooking up the switches. Also, any possibility of adding a working recce button and the thumb switch or would I need to look at something else? Should add I have one of your PCBs :) -
I didn't realize this, but change the resolution to 1024x768. I noticed it on others that were claiming awesome performance. Made a world of difference and doesn't impact the headset resolution.

Sunscom SFS Throttle needed!

I've also got a throttle if you havent found one yet. -
How much are you asking for it?

OMG that music... who thought that was a good idea?

I really want to build something like for myself, also for VR. Nice work!

Have you checked Canadian Tire? They have a bunch of Gardena stuff... might be worth a shot. -

Has anyone attempted to put the Talon stick on an X55? Or think it's doable? If so debolestis, happen to still have a PCB available? :) -

Debolestis, Are those PCBs meant to be wired into an Arduino or more for plugging into another base (warthog for example)? -
We're in the VR forum.... why would you think I'd be talking about anything else?
-
I'm talking about DCS in VR, not on a 4k monitor.
-
You have DCS running awesome in VR with a 1080? Share the secret.
-
The problem is a GTX 1080 can barely play DCS at 1920x1080 with most of the settings turned down. Upping the resolution is going to cause massive performance decreases. Video card technology needs to improve remarkably for it to be viable, and probably put it out of the reach of most people due to cost.

Excellent news. I was hoping the one from the Cougar grip would work but the casing is damaged. Should be able to salvage the HAT itself though. Do you have a link to the exact switch you used by chance? -

I'm just getting involved in this thread, possible lead on a throttle/stick setup. It's one of the models with the big led on the stick but I'm assuming that can be easily replaced with a good switch. My question is, will your PCB work for that specific stick? And if so, you mentioned you may have some extras for sale? Lastly, are your models available elsewhere (as I have my own 3D Printer)? I 100% understand if you don't want to give them out, no offense taken, but I'd really like the PS3 stick one =) -
looking for opinions on a new compter...

If you're willing to build it yourself you'll get much more for your money. If it's a route you'd want to take, I'd be more than willing to help you out. -

You could easily spend a few hours reading about Arduinos and have working switches and buttons. Then you just need to make a panel =D
