Thanks I got it fixed by running the 'Switching_to_openbeta.bat' in DCS root directory and it downloaded and successfully upgraded to version 2.7. It seems that I wasn't running the Open beta after but the stable version and 'Switching_to_openbeta.bat' successfully updated it to Openbeta. Thanks again for your help

Oh I see. Please find it attached. Thank you dcs.log

-
I also have already Downloaded the latest version of the updater and still no go
-
Yes when I first ran DCS_updater.exe it did download around 7Gb's and then installed it but after that when I started it up the DCS logo came up along with the version 2.5.6., see attached, and gets stuck on that screen without anything happening.

Hi there, Please find the files attached and thanks so much for your help. Much appreciated. dcs.log autoupdate_log.txt

Hi there the "compatibility mode" was never enabled. Is there anything else I can do?
-
Hi thanks so much for your help but same thing I opened the DCS-updater.exe properties and under compatibility tab I put a checkmark next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 8 but no luck. Right after the DCS logo shows and the version 2.5.6. it goes to a blank screen and stays there. Thanks again for your help.

Hi there, After running DCS_updater.exe, my computer downloaded what I thought was 2.7 which was around 7GB and installed it. After the install ran DCS and it said 2.5.6. and got stuck on a blank page and won't open just stuck at the blank page. I've rebooted a few times that didn't help. Any help will be appreciated. Thx Windows Version 1909 OS build 18363.1500 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x RAM: 32GB 3200 GPU: MSI Radeo RX580 8GB

Hi there, Had some major issues with new build and had to reinstall windows 10. I do have a backup copy of the Eagle Dyamics folder with the original install. What files would I need to transfer from backup folder to new folder for the controller files i.e. the input i configured for each aircraft. Thanks in advance

Virus detected by Bitdefender after update I updated to version 2.5.6 yesterday and was surprised to see another update today I believe it was 718GB. After installation Bitdefender displayed this warning: "The file E:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\World.dll is infected with Gen:Variant.Ursu.768621 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean" How do I roll back this update?

I understand there is a bonus sale until August 1, 2019 but I have no way to use my bonus points for a product I have added to the shopping cart. On checkout the shopping cart says 'Enter coupon code for discount (not bonus'), so how am I supposed to purchase a product using my bonus points?

@birdstrike Ok thanks will do that next time

Sorry forgot to remove #7 pump fuel, did not pump fuel at all, even tried pumping fuel 4 - 5 times instead, still no go. 1 Switch on circuit breakers (right side panel) 2 Switch on oxygen supply (blue valve, right side bottom) 3 Switch on fuel supply (button under throttle handle) 4 Switch on magnetos (front panel in front of throttle) 5 Switch on propeller automation (small button below throttle) 6 Call Ground Crew -> Inertia Starter. NO REPLY FROM GROUND CREW

The most beautiful Spitfire footage I have ver seen
fasteddie1 replied to REDEYE_CVW-66's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
Yes absolutely awesome. Thanks for sharing -
If you intend on taking your enemy out you will invariably blow your engine in trying to keep up with them. I've put the radiator on auto and also tried manually engaging it all the while being very careful with how much throttle I'm inputting and as always smoke starts pouring out of the engine. If you want a kill, you have to kill your engine in order to do so.

I think the 'assets' should have all been included in the map, even if I had to pay extra I would have because I know all the hard work put in it. Paying extra for 'assets' can cause alot of confusion but I think ED was concerned people might think the price of the map was too high so they decided to separate it.
