  1. Check and Check, but I will double check when I get home :joystick: Will try to make a recording of em on local PC so you see what I have in mind  Hmmmm, packet sniffing is in order today. :megalol: LOL, just by this tread alone we can start putting together a HOWTO :P
  2. Yesterday I was playing around a bit with hawgtouch. My goal was to reposition the gauges within panel (which included resizing the background panel) to make it more 1024x768 friendly and place them in correct order (as A10 has them). Result? Take a peace of paper, write everything down, get to work, voila, done in 5-10 minutes. Was testing hawgtouch on local PC (with a A10C installed) = 127.0.0.1 Result? It came to life, NMSP turned on when it got power ingame! Tho gauges were totally erratic and when they stopped they did not indicate the same value as the game did. Could this be due to x86 platform of DCS A10C? :helpsmilie: What my actual goal was, is to export gauges (and only that) to laptop so lets change IP in the export.lua to 192.168.0.54. Result? Despite disabled firewall, disabled AV and run with admin privileges on both PC and laptop, they did not come to life on laptop. I suspect that it is due to *Gauges to work need data export enabled*. In which case it won't work due to A10 not being installed on a laptop. Otherwise really nice FREE (emphasis) software with huge potential.
  3. Startup is easy and it does not take 15 min ... once you are versed that is :D http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/38337/ And this is a nice mission for startup training
  4. How about a sticky HawgTouch support thread? :smartass:
  5. After giving more thought to this. And based on input from ClearDark, this is doable. MFCD's or UFC has no sticky buttons and there fore does not need info FROM A10, hawgtouch will still send info TO A10. Diverting info for other stuff to a secondary PC ... MmmmmMMMMMMM It just happened that I'll have a busy afternoon :D Moar Coffee!
  6. Confirmed, working! Thank you so much!
  7. I totally understand that. Thing is that hawgtouch won't start on laptop at all. Does hawgtouch need A10 installed? I was looking, at procmon, it does query the registry for DCS A10 folder. I did install net framework 4. I'm totally puzzled. It runs OK on my home PC but won't run on Laptop. HAH! Some more brainstorming. I wonder what is so different with this laptop compared to my home PC. Besides A10 beein installed on home PC. Starting it from another dir does not help. Will re-download now.
  8. It is exactly what I'm trying to do. Download RAR on laptop - Unrar - Run. No go. Not even "Run as administrator". Will try to re-download. Will try to run from some other directory. It runs OK on my home PC where A10 is installed.
  9. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: hawgtouch.exe Problem Signature 02: 1.3.0.0 Problem Signature 03: 4da1ea75 Problem Signature 04: mscorlib Problem Signature 05: 4.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 4ba1da6f Problem Signature 07: 3dab Problem Signature 08: 105 Problem Signature 09: System.IO.DirectoryNotFound Problem Signature 09: System.IO.DirectoryNotFound Trying to run it on a laptop (A10 is not installed) what could be causing it?
  10. Now ClearDark gave me a reason to take home a laptop from work. On a REGULAR basis :D On that matter, is it possible to have MFCD's (and UFC if so desired) on my second screen and send gauges indicators info over to laptop?
  11. Cleardark, do you accept any paypal donations? :D
  12. Few days back I was unable to change anything in controls. Nada. Erasing A10 folder in "<user profile>\saved games" rectified the problem. But then I had to set up everything again (more or less I run stock controls)
  13. On airfields divert page: Runway 13 = 130 or Runway 29 = 290 or Runway 17 = 170
  14. This would be my case.
  15. No rudder pedals, yet.
  16. You swayed me. Was thinking some more and makes sense. I plan to go for normal TIR5 without proclip. Is it OK?
  17. Makes it handy on landing, otherwise I get the feeling it can be used more wisely :D
  18. What do you use your big pinky button for? The one with lever :D I've set mine for wheel brake.
  19. You'd think :D There is a saying "No matter what you do, sysadmin CAN know" There is no way of hiding it :music_whistling: Me = Sysadmin :doh: Godly voice > HOW DARE YOU!:megalol:
  20. If the two yellow needles did not show on approach nor did AOA work despite being in ILS mode and tuned in to airfields ILS ... maybe i was just coming in from the wrong direction. Even tho, the side glide slope indicator was working and it did pick up the signal cause it turned of the red flag and was moving :P
  21. One more question regarding runway heading: If 13 means 130 then i would dare to assume that 9 means 90?
  22. In my case I'll pay 72 EUR for the 17" touch overlay and cca 210 EUR for 21,5 inch touch LCD screen in question. As much as I'm DIY guy somewhat I'd prefer a new screen and warranty for that extra 130 EUR :D Doesn't the pressure of bezel impact the touch overlay on the sides? Or are they not sensitive on the edges?
  23. I really warmed up for AOC E2239FWT touch screen and SCS Helios ... What do you guys think? Worth it or not? Any experiences regarding touch screen and helios that you can share? Next on the buy list is track ir and rudder pedals.
  24. Works like a charm!
