Well my TM WH registered movement even before I pulled it out of *center*. I was looking at axis movement in options and i saw that when ever i place the hand on it or off it there was a slight movement. I decided then that i will place a really small (3) deadzone. Still as I'm kinda getting used to A10C model, some fine flying (aerial refueling) and A10 is not a jet that would easily tolerate the prolonged high G pulls like F15, etc .. I decided that I might as well reduce the initial sensitivity on axis - curvature. Overall I find it pleasing and I make less corrections on landing / tanking approach.

To avoid that, make sure you have gun switch in SAFE position. So when you go mad and start clicky clicky on trigger ... none of the *whoppsss* follows

Tho I own TM WH, I did the same. Placed deadzone of 3 and curve to 15 (I think) on both X and Y. I went for the tanker again. What a difference - OMG. Tho then I was having problem with mastering the speed. I managed to hook up but then all of the sudden the boom went in to red zone and I pulled back. Before fine tuning in the options I was literally all over the place. I must say, placing that deadzone and curvature on the stick was a nice thing to do. Overall control of the jet turned out to be better. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:KC-135Boom-operator-521.jpg And he goes LOL when we fail :P

Looking forward to it! Tho I was wonder about this in particular: From tmahring AHCP panel <Button> <Name>TGP</Name> <SwitchUp>\Images\AHCP\up\TGP.png</SwitchUp> <SwitchDown>\Images\AHCP\down\TGP.png</SwitchDown> <Type>TwoStateSwitch</Type> <ID>1</ID> <X>183</X> <Y>142</Y> <KeyCommandUp>{RALT}{LALT}w</KeyCommandUp> <KeyCommandDown>{RALT}{LALT}x</KeyCommandDown> </Button> Or paulkrii NMSP panel <Button> <Name>PIR</Name> <SwitchUp>\Images\NMSP\pirleft.png</SwitchUp> <SwitchDown>\Images\NMSP\pirright.png</SwitchDown> <Type>TwoStateSwitch</Type> <SwitchType>OnOn</SwitchType> <StartPosition>Up</StartPosition> <ID>1</ID> <Y>29</Y> <X>106</X> <KeyCommandUp>4</KeyCommandUp> <KeyCommandDown>5</KeyCommandDown> </Button> In both cases the game does not have two state corresponding switch definition but just a toggle. Would i be correct to assume that in either up or down state i define the same letter or am I missing something :P And of course http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=72892 :P -
HawgTouch - Free Panels & Gauges for A-10C

Sorry for bitching, but I really wished it. Now my assembly is one step closer to complete :D Tho I did hit a dead end regarding some key assignments in the game. And a G15 problem :D -
Scenario: RALT + F5 assigned to G1 (VHF/AM 10MHz up) RALT + F8 assigned to G2 (VHF/AM 10MHz down) RALT + - assigned to G8 (VHF/AM switch to TK) RALT + = assigned to G11 (VHF/FM switch to TK) When I went to options to assign the keys it registered the modifier + key .. cool! Started the game, started the jet ... to my surprise they do not work. If I press the assigned key eg RALT + F5 or RALT + F8 .. I see the change in the cockpit. If I press a G key ... I get kicked to external view. :P I tried setting it as normal keystroke assignment ... no go I tried setting it as macro ... no go I tried setting it as macro with time delay ... no go (unless it need to be bigger) Any tips or tricks on this?:book:

DCS A-10C landing with 100 knots of wind directly across the runway!
Nu-NRG replied to lobo's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I get the "wind blowing under your wings" part which would cause lift, in terms what we seen as IAS / GS difference. But still, would it be really possible to land the way you did? -
And then she sells it? Please! Don't say that :P

Do you have the icons in top right corner of the panel? the "^" icon is made for drag and drop. Remember that the panel will not remember it's position. It would be best if you manually edit the .xml profile. -

You have to export that in the game the same way as MFCD's. Here is the link on how to do it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70716. Should you need any more help regrading this, feel free to PM me. -
Is it legal to have this much fun without flipping master arm on?
Nu-NRG replied to lobo's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
+1. Hearing it come to life, taking it in to the air, flying it (it behaves nothing like a fighter jet), landing it ... you never get enough of it! -

With new screen, re-design is in order. In bottom left corner it will be landing gear and AHCP panel. The rest of panels and engine gauges will be placed on second PC. To do: assign keystrokes in HT and game. When this is done I'm posting this for all of you with some txt file explaning the thing :P Thanks go to: MadTommy for MFCD bezel images Tmharing for CDU and AHCP panel images ClearDark for HawgTouch -

Erm, wrong. It is in flicks. But i would assume the screen would have to support multi touch tech. See here: http://www.night.si/~tomcat/multi-touch.jpg And video: http://www.night.si/~tomcat/multi-touch.wmv -
Word. Screw MMO's. Community's there suck. Previous experience with Flight Sim Community was just RESPECT. Seeing the same pattern here.

This is what I came up so far but I will re-arrange a bit - I plan to make AHCP in the right corner. Also I managed to extract the AHCP panel and overlay a text, but it seems I can't find the shaped AHCP switches textures. Maybe paulrkiii or someone else can help me here? :D
