Just tried flying the first mission of the first campaign (fam flight). After almost being back at the farp, the game crashed. This was after 40-50 mins of flight. Just pressed F3 to do a flyby I think. Log included crashlog.rar

The file that I downloaded only contains 4 files, mission, options, an image, and warehouses?

Also want to have this feature, makes sense that as a JTAC you can do what a JTAC does :)

I know it's a known issue (I think). When trying to connect to multiplayer sessions I get CTD's often. Also when playing I get CTD at random times. Here are some logs from today. Had to try 9, 10 times in order to connect to a game. Maybe the logs will help you out to pinpoint the issue. DXDiag included. Logs.rar

Maybe a popup attack is not the best solution when you don't really know where your target is? :) I thought a popup was performed on preplanned steerpoints/targets. Isn't a popup supposed to be a surprise attack, in and out. When reading vipers in the storm (f16) the author describes a nose 15 degrees up 4.7 miles from target until a height of 2400, turn into the targets, dive 10 degrees, drop bombs and get out or something similar. And they go pretty fast, 500 kts and up I think. Of course the A10 is another beast.

I think when doing a popup attack you should already know where you target is and have a markpoint over it at least. You need to stay low, climb up, roll in and drop bombs. I don't think it will work well when you don't really know where your target is.

This whole thread seems useless to me :) It makes sense that if you have BS2 (upgrade or full) you will be able to integrate it into dcs world, dunno why people are freaking out and asking all these random nonsense questions.

Managed to replicate twice. I've included 3 track files (2 where it crashed, and one up until the point it crashes). I've also included the log files and my dxdiag just in case. I checked and I'm using the latest drivers for my gfx card. I play black shark 2 and dcs a10 without any problems. It's the [num .] key which is causing it to crash. Ok, I'm not sure if I can replicate, it happened once this morning, I stopped playing afterwards and wrote down what I remember. I'll see if I can make it crash again.

I first did a terrain lock (num del) and then i pressed the lock (enter) button. The game crashed and went to the debrief. Here's the log file. logs.zip

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but I can retract my landing gear while I'm on the ground, which makes the plane fall to the ground. No way of getting the gear back down of course :) Is this a bug or a 'feature' of the real plane?

From the official flightgear website: Don't spend money on it. As for what to choose, x-plane or fsx. You can try the x-plane 10 demo for free. To see what fsx is capable of you should check some youtube videos I suppose. It's not true that x-plane is 'more professional' like one of the users above stated. It also depends on the addons you have and the amount of money you want to spend on a simulator. There are some excellent payware aircraft for both fsx and X-Plane. There is Microsoft flight, it's free to play, but... well it's not as complete as fsx or xplane. I'm not sure if there's any future for microsoft flight. I have never tried flightgear, maybe once a long time ago, so I'm not sure. Just try it out, it's free :)

my mistake, i bought the spitfire, got confused for a second, but i'll buy the P51 when it's released hopefully this month :) My point is, that to me it makes more sense to fly these birds within fsx than in the dcs world :)

Since I already have a fairly accurate P51 for fsx (A2A simulations, accusim) I think I will skip this one. Being able to shoot stuff isn't really a plus to me. This plane only makes sense if there are other WW2 birds in the pipeline. Good luck though.

Maybe you should reinstall the teamspeak plugin from the tars control panel? Or you can remove the plugin (.dll file) from the program files\teamspeak 3 folder and try reinstalling it. Maybe it will help?

Depends, maybe you will be able to choose what seat you take and the other seat will be taken by the AI. I'm not sure how complex it will be to do something like that, but still it sounds doable.
