Negative - I was marshalling behind the carrier for a CASE III landing. This was mission 2 in the Raven One campaign if that helps, but this crash is not unique to this mission/campaign.

Hi, I've been putting up with this very frequently ever since 2.8, but it seems to be getting worse. I primarily fly the Hornet, but this can occur with other aircraft as well, and crashes after 30-90 mins of flying. My crashes typically require an "end task" close in order to get out of the freeze. Because of this I don't get a crash log. However, I was able to generate and produce one last night. Unfortunately it includes the SRS and A-4 mod and I haven't been able to generate a crash log after removing these mods (game still freezes on me after removing anyway). Regardless, I've attached the one I was able to produce last night. Any guidance on this is deeply appreciated! Never had these kind of frequent crashes before. dcs.log-20221129-234434.zip dcs.log

Have you watched this? If not it should get you started. Sounds like you never setup your viewports. -

DELETE PLEASE MODS
echonovember2 replied to LORD FLASHEART's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Does anyone else have the issue with the hornet sliding around the deck after trapping this mission? It doesn't do this on any other missions... Am I missing something? Thanks. -
The status bar loads to about 70% and just hangs up forever. I've loaded this game 100 times before on this same machine and haven't had issues before. I am getting this error message when I have to access the task manager to force close DCS: I also get some other miscellaneous low memory error messages related to DCS once the application finally does close. I've run memtest 86 and my hardware memory seems fine (no errors), and I'm not having an issue with any other software of this nature, other than with DCS. I've also made sure I have the latest Direct X, C++, and GPU driver.

The screenshot was from my EMC folder. I took note of what you mentioned and cleaned out the folder and started new. Extracted the file and launched the setup. The folders that you mentioned previously showed up, but I still get the same error. I'm going to standby and wait to look at your tutorial video. Thanks for your help with this guys.

I was using default profile "1 Screen" when I launched the .exe _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('1 Screen'); Description = 'One monitor configuration' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = screen.width; height = screen.height; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = screen.aspect; } } And an added bit of info, I was not running DCS when I went to run the .exe...

Okay what the heck am I doing wrong? This is what pops up when I try to run the EMC.exe file after extraction. I'm running windows 8. Could that have something to do with this error?

Simple Inflight refuelling mission
echonovember2 replied to SUBS17's topic in User Created Missions General
Hate to dig up an old thread, but I downloaded this mission maybe 6 months ago and thought it was an excellent trainer for a-a refueling. I've lost the mission and the rapidshare link is now gone. Any chance we can get it put back up please?? Thanks!! -
I'm now having this issue. I tried everything in this thread with no success. I submitted a ticket for help. ticket 19391

Joystick Throttle not working for A-10C
echonovember2 replied to echonovember2's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
Seems as though the DCS World and A-10C updates resolved the issue I was having. I do want to say that some conflicting control profile issues had something to do with the non-response of inflight throttle. -
I'm using a logitech 3d pro and the throttle slider on my stick works fine with the standalone A-10C software and also works with the P-51D in DCS world, but I can't get an in flight reaction out of the throttle in the A-10C in DCS World. I've cleared the category for the joystick and reset all of my axis points, including the throttle which the game detects in the menu, but this hasn't solved the problem. Is this a bug I found or something I'm doing wrong exclusive to me?

Didn't try that, but I actually found the solution on the DCS World board. It's essentially what Nate suggested: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=88027
