  1. Hi all, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the problem I'm having, here goes. I installed Track IR again after a long absence. TIR 5 software version 4.2, all fine until I start DCS, which just sits there on the boot screen:(. I uninstalled software v4.2 and installed v3, DCS starts okay, that's fine except v4+ gives me a much better and smoother experiance. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
  2. This is the new F16 stick:- https://shop.thrustmaster.com/en_ie/f-16c-viper-hotas-add-on-grip.html it is exactly the same as my warthog stick
  3. Well I never knew that, thanks guys, much appreciated.
  4. Auto Throttle? Are you referring to ATTH on the AP menu? I thought that was Attitude Hold? i.e. put the aircraft into a bank with ALT Hold on and ATTH holds the bank. I can't find an auto throttle anywhere.
  5. Thanks Guys, been away for while so I'm quite rusty
  6. Removing all bindings, will this work for axis as well? I have no throttle on the ground, it's fine if I start in the air!
  7. Well that was a fascinating thread. I have said it before and I'll say it again.....You Guys are great, it's real honour to be associated with you all. Feldwebal jump on the 74th server some time, learning becomes a breeze when you have someone on your wing talking you through the procedures.
  8. Wait until you are flying in formation on one of the multiplayer servers, your hands are sweating as you try and match speed and altitude or trying to hook-up with the tanker....I tell ya it doesn't get much more real than this sim! You can almost smell the jet fuel........And for a "real challenge" try the 74th's Induction flight......just make sure you have a change of trousers handy!...:megalol:
  9. Wait till you feel the weight of it! Don't drop it on your toe, you'll be in hospital for a month!! Oh and don't forget the TIR, but I'm guessing you already have that coming from FSX.
  10. I tried both engine re-starts from as low as 3,000ft and I'm ace at it now....but do know what? It doesn't help at all when you have "no wings!!!!!!":megalol::megalol::pilotfly:
  11. To learn the meaning of "low-flying" try OP-Samson on the 74th Server.....I betcha 4 BUKS (yes that is a pun:lol:) you crash and burn if you venture too close above 1,000 feet...:joystick:
