  1. Hi Capt, have just ran clean install of 2.5 with A10c and it works !! :-). Excellent piece of kit, thank you very much for your help and the effort you have put in to this program. Finally is there a separate process for the mfc's, I am just about to drag the web and look for a tutorial / guide. Many Thanks from a very happy A10c Pilot :pilotfly:
  2. here's the export file, I am going to install a new copy of 2.5 with just the a10c on it and try that, as I had noticed lots of errors in the last log Cheers Export.lua
  3. error log Hi Capt, here's a copy of the log file. There is an error on line 351, hopefully it will mean more to you than it does to me. Really appreciate your time on this dcs.log Helios error.txt
  4. Thanks DeJohn, as you can see I'm still failing miserably

Sorry for taking up your time, but I am ready to bin this idea soon Cheers
  6. Hi Capt, thanks for the response. I already have got the latest lua Nov 17. I still cannot get anything to work, I have made my own gauges as per YT videos and still nada. I put the lua in the DCS World folder and a copy in the scripts just incase :-) is that ok?. Do I need to edit the lua in anyway?. I have tried just about every recent profile I can dl. I'll keep trying, really want the gazelle on my touch screen. Thanks Just found a newer lua in the Gaz folder, but yet again no joy. I have tried just one or two gauges on all screens and nothing. Can you confirm where the lua should go exactly. I am sure I am missing something with the luas but I don't know what. Am I supposed to edit them or are they PnP ?. Thanks again :-)
  7. Hi Gents, I have struggled for 4 days now with Helios and appear to be getting no where. I can get the profile to run on my touch screen but cannot get it to mirror the sim in any way. I hope someone can point me in the right direction of a step by step guide for Old Brain dead Dummies. I have watched god knows how many videos/guides but get nowhere. I have a 34inch main screen 3440x1440 to run the sim on and a 21inch 1920x1080 touch screen. Also have 2 27inch 2650x1440 either side. I have no idea what to do with Lua files so I am stuck. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance Regards Mick
  8. Many Thanks for the letter and clarifying the situation. Please keep up your excellent work.
  9. I ordered direct from Andre so it makes no difference unfortunately, I'm now waiting to see if I get stung for a set of crosswind pedals I ordered !
  10. I just received mine here in the UK 2 weeks ago. A word of warning about customs tax, I was stung for £54 as it was outside the EU so take that into consideration before you buy. HTH
  11. Gents, I think with a little more patience, Polychop will get their act together now that all the fuss is over and sort the outstanding problems with the FM. Well let's hope so :pilotfly:
  12. You will never be able to sustain inverted flight in the gaz as it has a flexible head on it, and you have to be very careful and keep positive pitch whilst inverted otherwise you will lose the tail boom. This is wayyy outside the envelope for this aircraft. You pick a very safe height, reduce speed to 40 kts ish with 20-40 degrees nose up and when you feel very brave (or is that stupid) roll the aircraft 180 degrees and hold positive pitch as it falls thru the vertical and exit the move heading back the way you came in time for tea and medals and a change of underwear. :pilotfly:
  13. Whats going on here then :pilotfly: who said they can't..... :-)
  14. I guess you didn't really get it after all :music_whistling:
  15. Not saying you do, but what is the point of picking holes in the module and expecting the devs to make it as realistic as possible if all you need is an arcade version which would probably be a lot cheaper. No matter how hard the devs FM the gazelle or any other module, you will never have it work just like the real thing especially for £50. Most helis are flown very much by feel through the seat and sound of the mechanics. :pilotfly:
  16. Vortex Ring State I have had 4000hrs real life flying in a British Army Gazelle and have never experienced VRS once. As a pilot you are taught not to put yourself into a position to be in that condition. If you want to fly the Gazelle as realistically as possible why would you put yourself in that position ?. beats me :smilewink: and yes I do have the gazelle module, No it's not perfect but is pretty good nonetheless. There are Old pilots and there are Bold pilots but NO Old Bold pilots........Gravity sucks
  17. thanks for that Franky, had a play today and can now see light at the end of the tunnel
  18. Hi Franky, sorry for the confusion, I am just not clear which commands would be assigned to the 2 or 3 switches, I was hoping you could show me a screen grab of a typical profile and how you assign the commands to switches. I am not sure if I am over thinking this and making problems for myself but as they say a picture paints a thousand words. I just need to see an example of the use of the switches and hopefully set it right in my head Cheers Mick
  19. Hi Franky, could you post a viggen profile with my buttons mod and how to use the 2/3 switches as I cannot for the life of me get my head around it. I have the mod working but not sure how the switches are set up in the controls. I think i may be getting too old for all this. cheers Mick :helpsmilie:
  20. English Speaker Hi Dimitriov, if you still need a Gazelle English speaker albeit with a Northern Ireland twang. I used to fly the British unarmed Recce version for the Army Air Corps and had about 3000 hrs on the Gazelle. Contact me if needed
  21. Serial # 43293 Stick & Throttle Location: Warminster UK
  22. Can't hear the Commentary Am I the only one who cannot hear the commentary. Whilst the background music is nice it does overpower the important commentary. The quality of all the vids are great and appreciated for all the time and effort that has been put into them so it seems a shame to lose this important information. I think its time to go get my hearing aids :helpsmilie:
