  1. Sorry guys My plans have changed on me. I can't make it tonight. I will try next week.

  3. Welcome Ice to the community. Nice to see another from the other side of the planet. I'm a big fan of the aircraft, the weapons, and the complexity DCS have created. My first sim's I remember were from the 1990's - F-19 Stealth Fighter by Microprose and Tornado by Digital integration. The complexity wasn't available then. Neither was the processing power, graphics power, ram requirements, 64bit instructions etc... Its been a long time between drinks for me and I am a convert from the other side of the fence *black ops* Every now and then you just have to return some lead to the earth. Playing black ops, I did this for three hundred hours saving the planet on steam. With A-10C , I get to do the same thing , just returning it in different way- usually CM, HEI, DU, laser guided, PGM, Slaved to MAV etc. etc. etc... When I get my 1.1.0.8 crash problem's solved (install Win7 64bit), I look forward to a few MP games with you fellow AUS & NZers around the traps. Redfish
  4. Got it. Flew it... crashed the first time - controlled flight in to terrain... *idiot* 2nd time flew it.. your correct about that right turn at the lake. bombed it ... triple string of pairs . boom.. boom... boom... Nice to see the sams blowing up. I copped some flak from flying too low near one of the sams blowing up up near the lake egressing. Got all the way to the bottom and just turned towards the 2nd WP near homeplate and got hit in the butt by a bloody Mig-29 R77 and ejected and landed probably 20 metres from the explosion. So got the job *kudos* done and I probably would have died in the ejection in the resulting crash landing. Fun one.... 200 Sams??? Thats insane. Thanks.
  5. Come fly with me. During the Hideout SP mission was my wow moment. 130 degrees SE of Rendevous Point for 2 NM , 18000 ft, chatting to Uzi 21 I had my first hypoxia episode. Screen blurs and HUD and all the instrumentation become difficult to read. Starting to beccome annoyed. Damn you video card.... Damn you Catalyst software.... Damn you ATI *Shakes fist at the screen* Vision goes from bad to just plain un-flyable. Then the mind clicks over. This isn’t hypoxia is it?????? Not in a Study Sim? Well let’s try something. The blurring was too difficult to try and kfumble for the switches and dials on the environment panel so I headed back to IP and dropped down to 12000 and the screen reverts back to visual perfection. Wow!!!! This is unbelieveable. In my start up procedure, guess who didn’t switch on the oxygen........ what a great sim. No if only my MP would work and stop crashing to desktop. Lesson learned. Dont’ take shortcuts with procedures.
  6. Got it. just downloaded mission. :)
  7. Click on the TACAN (TCN) button on the Navigation Mode Select Panel (NMSP.) Usually Steerpoint button (STR PT) is highlighted in Green as default navigation mode for the HSI -aircraft.
