Trying to understand the difference between the two. A-LShift vs. T-LAlt I notice that when I use Hover ON/OFF, altititude stabilization also turns on. But when I turn off Hover, the altitude stabilization remains. Is this a bug in the simulation or is it normal in a real KA-50? Thanks.

Hello, I have made some changes to my keyboard and joystick mappings and I want to revert back to the default settings (like after a clean install of BS). I know I can go to each specific key or button setting and reset them individually but is there a way to reset and go to default for controllers keys and buttons easily? Thanks.

Hello, I have a quadraphonic speaker system and my windows setting is set to "quadraphonic". I have a SB X-fi Extreme Gamer sound card. However, I don't get any sound from rear speakers in this simulation. Thank you.

hmmm....windows has it set to quadraphonic since I have 4 speakers. I'll have to check this again in game.... thanks.

Sorry if this was discussed. I seem to only get sound from my two front speakers on this sim and not my rear speakers. Is this normal? I didn't see an audio option for this. Thanks.

rugg, to answer your question .... I've done more than that. I've rebuilt my computer from scratch numerous times because of this bug. That's a CLEAN driver install. And yes, I've tried safe mode and driver removal tool (although nobody should have to do that to update their drivers). And you know what? If you don't get this bug, great. Good for you. Let the others who have this bug ask for a fix, it's not unreasonable to ask. If yours works fine, don't waste your time in this thread, go play!

tell you honestly, I don't think shadow bug is big deal for me because I seldomly use external views. I'm usually in the cockpit (trying to keep it real). The cloud texture bug sucks because I can see it from the cockpit.

Bottom line. This is a bug with either LOMAC or Nvidia Drivers. Either way, it would be nice for ED and Nvidia to work together to fix this for the consumers' sake. I have a very vanilla system with no overclocking whatsoever: AMD 64 3200 eVGA 6800 GT 2 Gig Corsair XMS RAM Audigy 2 ZS Hitachi SATA ED, PLEASE FIX THIS SOON! I LIKE YOUR SIM BUT DON'T LIKE THIS BUG!

I've tried it all Ruggbutt. Tried every single driver after 66.93 and the bug is there. 66.93 is the only driver that works...and of course, that driver set is over 1.5 years old! Don't call me hardheaded because you obviously don't konw what you're talking about. I've rebuilt my PC at least 4 times in the last 1.5 years and reinstalled LOmAC at least 10 times with different drivers. The fact is, the bug is there and I can only play this game with 66.93. Now, I don't mind that BUT, 66.93 has bugs with my other games. Get it?

Disappointed with Eagle Dynamics Well, I must say I am very disappointed with ED. Don't count on getting my money on your next product. Such a basic bug as this cloud texture corruption MUST be addressed. I paid money for this and I cannot enjoy this simulation because of this visual bug. I don't care if it's a Nvidia bug or your bug. YOU (ED) must address it with NVidia because this simulation is the only "game" out of my 10 games on my computer with texture corruption. Too bad a great simulation is ruined by such a basic flaw. If ED at least responded to my intial post or responded at all in this thread, I might have forgiven them. Too bad.

This is interesting. It looks like this bug only happens in certain maps. I couldn't reproduce it again. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for your responses.

in the lower left hand side of the su25t cockpit there is an indicator that shows if your gear is up/down, airbrakes are on/off, and also status of flaps. The flap indicator only functions up to "combat mode" flaps but does not indicate double bars for landing or takeoff.

Kindred, this has nothing to do with heat or overclocking etc. This bug doesn't exist when using older Nvidia drivers. I use 66.93 now because of this bug. Newer drivers like the latest 81.xx drivers exhibit this problem. so again, my card or pc doesn't need a dusting...this is a bug that needs fixing by ED or Nvidia. I'd just like acknowledgement from ED that it's being looked into. That's all.

sorry if this has already been reported. The flap indicator seems to be broken at least on the SU25T. Particularly, the landing and take off flap modes.

Thanks for your thoughts but really, I'd like to hear from the horses mouth. I'd like ED to say what you said that this is a Nvidia bug. And even if it is, they should at least let us know they are working with Nvidia to fix this problem. The bug has been present in many iterations of the last Nvidia drivers so it doesn't look like it "may very well be gone agin in the next version".

Why wasn't this fixed in 1.12? This problem has been reported for a long time. Enough time I would think for ED to address it in 1.12. Why was this problem not addressed?

Well, I'm still waiting for ED to at least acknowledge this issue and respond here. I haven't played this sim since this problem cropped up. I really can't reinstall drivers every time I play this game...just takes too much time to do. I really hope ED will respond to this thread and let us know what to expect in terms of a fix for this.
