As appealing an idea as this is, I don't have much hope that this thing will catch on with developers.

When I set my MES to %50, the mav-d's have a heck of a time hitting anything. Also, with the new changes to IR missiles, a %50 setting means you better have a PERFECT aspect on your target or again, the missile will...uh....miss. I am not trying to dispute GGT here, but I will say that I prefer a setting of %95 as this allows my missiles to ocassionally hit a target and keeps the enemy SAMS from shooting down half my a2g missiles (as will happen if slider is at %100) A grain of salt has been sent out to you for use with this post. :)

Just out of curiosity, are you finding that the 1.11 changes have affected the missions that were "tested" in 1.1? If so, does this push back the time table for release? Not nagging, just excited about trying the campaign!

Yep, by not useing full screen mode you can also avoid haveing windows jack with your refresh rate as it switches resolution. I now play at 11x8 @100hz and it works great. I had several missions that would crash on loading and I found that setting the sound acceleration slider in dxdiag to "standard" solves this for the most part.

I use a Radeon x700 w 256M. I run the game at 1152x864. 2xAA and 2xAF, game settings on high and heat blur enabled. Using the preset in Loman that most closely matches my system I get 50-60 fps above 10000 ft and at the lowest maybe 17-20 flying low over a city. Rest of system: athlon 3000+ 1024 pc400 audigy (turning off sound acceleration gave big boost in fps)

Have you called the number at Evolveds' website? I called the number and got my replacement CD in 4 days flat. Be aware the CD came in a completely unmarked envelope, no case, no anything, not even a return address, so it could be mistaken for junk. Not to make light of your issue, but my experience (aside from getting an initially defective disk) was not bad at all. Fingers crossed for you, S6
