  1. I think it's been already considered. "II" can be confusing for some people who start their adventure with pc simulation and don't know it's A-10's official name - "there was DCS Thunderbolt I already"? Warthog is used more often by pilots. But does it really matter? If you ask me next DCS could be named F-16C Viper with no problem but I also rather prefer official names.

  7. FSX is a must. For better experience even FSX Acceleration (easier to start with carrier ops). However there is FS9 version for a long time now. It's only DL version. ...And yes! It's all about navigation and switchology. You will not regret buying it. http://www.vrsimulations.com/
  8. If I'm not wrong bushes and grass will be in next module (A-10C) and in update for Ka50 after that module release. Don't know about other elements but it would be great to have them indeed. Thunder however is already here.
  9. I like this video. It shows that TBS is a real deal. Mr Jim epitomises passion, experience and builds an interest in people. Also that could be great if they would additionally invite someone like Ed Macy to tell some good things about the product. But I'm affraid Mr Macy can't show his real face in front of camera - I saw his interview but only with shadow of the posture telling about his book. Maybe such a trick could be possible in TBS clip too...(?)
  10. Do Lockheed Martin's adverts look like this? No. And they don't sell their products in shops. You guys appear to forget that the military clients have eyes and feelings too. ;) I got your meaning but you simply don't get it with all do respect.
  11. Wrong, wrong, wrong. TBS is not made by "garage company". Little more touch would be hardly needed. Why there are blue boards with violet fonts? Colour is so important. Last researches found out that even B2B marketing works very similar to B2C marketing. Those people in business do same irrational movements as common clients. Times change. Emotional load in promo spots and in other kind of adverts is very important. But what does fancy mean? Hollywood style is not what I meant. I know military market is very specific and TBS clients is a tight group. But you should build a mark. Fundamentals in marketing don't change.   13. Yupp. And F-16C is in duty in Air National Guard where ED & Fighter Collection have paved the way already with fine TBS software and its A-10C. I bet on Apache and Viper in near future.

  19. Turn on blue light switch up, turn off any other cockpit lights (don't forget about flood light behind left arm) and switch on nvg (H key). Just like this.

I said alone Ka50 is blind 'cuz Su-25 can drop illuminating bombs (SAB-100) over hostile area to help out with finding targets ;) Also keep trying finding combination of brightness and contrast on Shkval - not only both at full or null. Oh! I forgot! You can switch search light on but it's effective on very short range and you are at the sight of enemy like you've just turned on welcome neon "here I am!" :D

  22. For night flying you need to change helmet mounted targeting monocle to night vision goggles. To do it you have to order the change via ground crew comm list. If you start flying after sunset you don't have to do it – change is done by default. To turn on NVG press H. To see targets on shkval you got to operate brightness and contrast knob under shkval monitor. There is no infra-red nor night vision option for shkval. Generally alone Ka-50 at night is blind like a mole.
