  1. well, I'm not any type of a mechanic -- but if you have no power to your fuel pumps - The APU wouldn't run for lack of fuel. (pretty sure the boost pumps draw power from the Battery).
  2. Isn't that enough?
  3. Many Steam games use 3rd party DRM solutions.
  4. The "Steam" application is 32 bit -- However the install from Steam is still 64bit. What that means is the Steamworks overlay (friends, screenshots, time tracking, etc) do not work while playing DCS:A-10C 64 bit. Another interesting side effect of that, Steam generally does not download while you are playing another Steam game. However it seems that because it cannot track time on the 64 bit game, you can be flying in DCS; and downloading other Steam games in the background. (Normally they pause when playing). But yes, it still has Activations.
  5. There's an indicator of which sensor is providing the current SPI on the bottom left of the Hud -- it'll start out as Steerpoint. Find the target in the TGP TMS fwd short to switch to Point track mode, TMS fwd long - Look at the bottom left of the Hud - should now say TGP indicating the TGP is providing the SPI. Then you can switch to Mav - and slave all with China hat fwd long. I'm not sure why that would happen. If you put TGP on the left MFCD, and MAV on the right -- make a SPI on the TGP -- make the right MFCD SOI, china hat fwd long; the Mav screen should slew to the same spot (provided you're within the gimbal limits of the Maverick). If not, point the nose of the aircraft at the Target. My only guess would be that you're either masked or the TGP is in INR -- Make sure the TGP has a good view from the forward angle of the aircraft. -- If you can't switch to from Area/Point track mode then you can't designate a SPI.
  6. Probably the speed of the RAM actually DDR2 800mhz. edit: or not, I see he's got that listed sperately as DDR3 -missed that at first.
  7. All Athlon's are AMD. But not all AMD's are Athlons. To figure out which AMD Athlon you have the easiest way is to download and run CPU-z http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
  8. Sure, straight down.
  9. I think this was probably my problem -- I tried the mission again today, and had no trouble firing 2 Mavericks, 1 at the Shilka, 1 at one of the APC's. (other I nailed with a CBU in CCIP). I then strafed the 4 trucks with the gun.
  10. Do you have to do this with a Maverick too? Last night I was trying out the "Sitting Ducks" mission -- active pause, located the Shilka with the TGP set the point as SPI, slaved the Maverick to it, but the Maverick wouldn't fire I don't remember exactly what it said, but something to the effect of:- Launch Inhibit no lock.
  11. I bought my copy a month ago from Steam -- Yes, you will be doing this.
