  2. i know it's a beta version but Ground Pounder Terrain includes hi-res tree models which Teka's mod doesn't have.
  3. i got this mod but if i just want to add hi-res trees to the game, just trees only, i don't like the bigger terrain textures so can i re-edit to keep all TREE_xxxx .tga files only & remove the others ???

  7. the F-15C' afterburner is the combination of Some1's Afterburner cone model & Oxyd's blue afterburner texture.
  8. FPS in some screenshots are bugs with F-15 skins in .DDS format or with VGA driver. Another thing is i'm running CPU P4C so fps around 30-35. I'll reinstall VGA driver, it may fix fps bug @graywo1fg: my rig is lo-end, i can set video settings at medium level only. All images are .JPG at 90% quality :doh:

  10. I wanna talk about the artificial intelligence of Lock On. Playing LO for a long time, i find that we're having some very serious problems that can't be fixed with LO's AI from the time of LOMAC 1.0 till now, especially you guys may see these bugs happen just in dogfighting or carrier/ airfield landing. There're some cases: 1. Carrier Landing: as we known, width of runway on the airfiled is bigger than carrier's runway so you can land 2-3 fighters at once (just 1 plane can land on the carrier at a time) but if you're the leader of a Su-33squad with 3 or 4 flight ships, when you fly around the carrier and command wingmen to land first, 2-3 remainings will land at once :badmood: , when the first plane caught the cable the second plane crash into him & the third crash into them, all explode. :spam_laser: 2. Airfield Landing: when i slowly close to any plane of a flying AI squadron (2-4 aircrafts) he of course lean to the left/right to prevent a crash, it's normal but if in a gunshot dogfight, when my enemy ran out of bullet he'll turn to the airbase, i follow him to the airfiled & find which runway he's gonna land, i cut his landing line to make him turn a round base while i land first at the opposite course, go to the end of runway to the position enemy'll touch the ground, turn engines off to wait, surely the enemy found me on the runway but he's still to land. The result is enemy crash into me, both explode :huh: :megalol: 3. Dogfight, some cases: A/ 1 vs 4 (me vesus a squad of 4 enemy fighters) play gun only: at least 1 or 2 enemy planes disengage & run away, just 1-2 remainings really join the dogfight & chase me. The others do maneuvers, lower altitude & suicide by crash-dive into the ground, problems is nobody chase them. _ Suicidal rate of at least 1 of 4 enemies is: 95% _ Suicidal rate of 2 of 4 enemies is: 70-75% _ Suicidal rate of 3 of 4 enemies is: 10-20% B/ 1 vs 3 (enemy planes): at least 1-2 planes disengage & run away before the dogfight starts, do maneuvers and the final stop is, of course, the ground: he/they crash into the ground himself/themselves without anyone chase him (them). _ Suicidal rate of at least 1 of 3 enemies is: 90% _ Suicidal rate of 2 of 3 enemies is: 10-20% C/ 1 vs 2: at least 1 plane do suicide by crashing as above, rate is about 50%
  11. Hi Teka, i'm using your "No pop-up trees" mod and find it's really one of the best landscape mods. Your mod removed the pop-up effect of all trees on the ground, no pop-up trees mean better fps, more realistic & no lag. Hope you could make a new other mod (name "No pop-up ground buildings & vehicles", maybe :smilewink: ) which can remove the pop-up effect of all ground buildings & plane models, vehicles on the airbase or parking area. I think it's not easy to do because Lock On has lots of building models but hope you can do it. Thax in advance !

  15. I've just seen...maybe a bug in a mission named Training_F15C_Refuelling (in F-15C missions folder) My wingman (AI) did air refueling without boom from KC-10 tanker, i heard the sound of flowing fuel. Any idea for this :doh: ?? /just happens to AI, i (player) don't have the same prob

  17. Sorry for not talking about LO, I'm not good at Eng and looking for some new words which mean: 1. A table for coffee = ? 2. A boy who earns money by delivering newspapers to people's homes = ? 3. Sports that are done on snow or ice, for example Skiing or Skating = ? Can anyone help :cry: Thanx in advance !
  18. what's the closure rate ? Is the distance from me to the tanker ? Is number 247.7 on top-left of the HUD indicated the closure rate in below pic What's the unit of measurement of closure rate ? If the unit of measurement is FOOT, the number 247.7 feet means distance = 82.5 meters to the tanker ?

I fly the Su-27 and sometimes have some problems with radar: in BVR mode, onboard radar find a target then i lock on target, direct to the target's bearing but suddenly lose the signal of target on the HUD & also on the radar, try to re-scan some times but no way to find him :( . why ??? Does the target turn off his radar or what else ? Another thing relates to online play: in LOFC manual, i find that Sukhoi planes have IFF system - Interrogate Friend or Foe but don't know where it located on the Su-27's control panel. So it makes me difficult when playing online: I don't know who's friend & who's enemy if allied aircrafts were in front of me and enemies turned ECM on because: As we known: on the HUD of Su-27, in BVR mode allied planes indicated by 2 lines and enemies indicated by 1 line. But if enemy turned ECM on, his signal on the HUD will be winked, i'm afraid of giving a mistake lock on a friend if he was in front of me, how to realize which kind of aircraft as in the F-15C's VSD ? ?? :pilotfly:
  20. So, how to know true airspeed & altitude exactly when doing air-refueling for the F-15C, we don't have information from tanker. Doing air-refueling for the Su-33 is much easier because all essential info displayed on top of the HUD (tanker's altitude & airspeed) about the F-15's control panel, when approaching the tanker, how to know when the Auto Altitude Stabilizer & Auto Throttle turned on (i always need F2 view mode to specify the airspeed in Kmph by watching the info bar at the bottom of screen). Moreover, the airbrake indicator is so difficult to see if not zoom in to the warning lights panel :cry:
  21. hi guys, i'm having troubles with the F-15 control panel :( as on the Russian Su-27 control panel we can easy reconize when we turn Auto Altitude Stabilizer (H) & Auto Throttle (J) functions on, their indicators will be luminated. But on the F-15 dashboard, i can't find where their indicators located so don't know when those functions turned on or off, even with air-brake :cry: Another thing, can anyone here show me an image of the real working F-15C Head-up display (in Navigation mode) i wanna compare to F-15's HUD in LOFC, perhaps something is not correct, not sure ! :music_whistling: hope (real) F-15 pilots can help :doh:

  24. I've just found a problem with the light effect, this occurs on A-10: light from the A-10 noselight can be distorted when the A-10 runs on the runway, i dunno why :music_whistling: :( Is a bug of Lock On or what else ? It can be seen clearly in the sunset, here're some screenshots:
