It probably means that your BS2 Upgrade key is already registered on your computer. You can install the BS2 upgrade like any other module, at least the last time I checked. The only requirement is that you have installed BS1 before. You probably need to keep the full installation directory around. My solution to this problem was to buy a full BS2 in one of the sales. Probably you should post installation & activation problems in the customer support forum.

Once DCS will support two players with the L-39, a Ka-52 module would seem reasonable. I guess it would be significantly cheaper to develop than an entirely new module and it would be an instant buy for a lot of Ka-50 veterans here.

I haven't read a single post indicating that this won't work. I myself installed the englisch BS1 download version using a german key. So you should be fine.

I want to map the "Autopilot BARO/RALT altitude hold mode" to a 3-way switch, more specifically to the autopilot switch on the warthog throttle. For 2-way switches like the laser standby the following works fine {combos = {{key = "JOY_BTN25"}, }, down = iCommandPlaneLaserRangerOnOff, up = iCommandPlaneLaserRangerOnOff, name = "Laser standby On/Off switch", category = "Ins Targeting Mode Controls Panel PVR"}, One problem with the baro/ralt switch is, that the function "CommandHelicopter_PPR_BAR_RV" moves the switch from the down position directly to up and not back to center. Any ideas? I guess someone already solved this problem, but I just could not guess the right search string for it.

The torrent is here: http://riseofflight.com/Forum/download/file.php?id=27604 well hidden in community -> useful files

I tried to seed my installation file (ROF_ICE_Unlimited_Demo_1021b.exe) just to find out, that they use different files in the torrent... stupid move. That might explain the bad torrent performance to a certain extent. I always used this method for DCS when http was faster than torrent.

I had to send my first TM:Wathog back, because one LED was already dead on arrival. Seems to be a more common problem.

If you decide quickly, you can still get the Iron Cross Edition on sale for 9.99: http://riseofflight.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=27729

There's a review of 1.04 over at SimHQ http://simhq.com/_air14/air_514a.html which has a list of helicopter specific aerodynamics covered by TOH. It's basically saying, that while there have been substantial improvements to the FM it still has a long way to go to be comparable to DCS:BS... but there is hope! Would be great to get to a level of realism in ARMA, where missions (like in real life) would require specialists to command tanks and to fly airplanes and choppers! @Dwarden: are there current plans to update the demo? (which still is v1.02)

You need to buy an activation code for the update http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=1322&scr=shop&lang=en

Tried the steam version with wine 1.3.37... menu and mission editor are working, but it crashes while loading the main game, when the progress meter reaches about a third. But wine generally is not so bad... I just read that Portal 2 and IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 are working nicely (downloading steam versions right now..) ... ARMA II is beginning to work somewhat... so it will be another year till it is playable. So I would guess, that with some support from the developers it should be realistic to make dcs wine compatible... but since they use starforce this probably won't happen.
